Manchester United v Ipswich (19.30 GMT)

  • Manchester United are unbeaten in their last seven home league games against Ipswich, winning the last three by an aggregate score of 15-0.

It fails to mention that the most recent occasion was in Sept 2001!
And the first of those games was in 1995, when Man Utd won 9-0

A lot of the players playing that day have moved on to pastures new, given it was 30 years ago

Is there any reason the commentator on TNT is conjuring up new pronunciations for virtually every player on the pitch at Old Trafford?

It’s even more annoying than the United performance.

Watched Utd beat every one and ruin countless seasons and the one time I need them to win 🤨
One of the few games were, despite gifting opponents a goal, got a lead and looked like we got good control of the game.

Then, one of the most positive players in their attack gets themselves sent off at end of 1st half, followed by an equalising goal.

It just feels like typical Man Utd. Absolutely nothing can ever be straight forward. Like a boxer trying to prolong the early rounds of a fight, then realising they don't have the stamina to win it by the end
