At least they can make sure their defensive midfield positions are covered. I suppose if they never buy a striker, then Arteta can always use the excuse that the club are still building, and thus never have to win anything again. Buy a striker, and then the building process is over, and winning trophies will be a priority.

A ball lost in the middle , a Cb and midfield gone missing and the striker pealing of the other Cb
Trent isn’t at fault for every goal we concede
I’m not just referring to the goal, although he was rather in no man’s land. The only one on one he’s had he’s been dumped on his backside far too easily.
