Was he that good or was it just being in a league with very little to compete against?

He's a good player for sure but he isn't anywhere near the level of "next Messi/ Ronaldo" that people were claiming

Same could be said for Bellingham.

Bellingham is awful as well. He seems to have turned from an brilliant footballer and grounded individual, to Jesse Lingard since playing for England in the summer

He came out in the press this week claiming he was made a scapegoat for the euros

I make the press right tbh. (Rare) Such talent and such a waste of it at times

Ruling out Villa's goal in the last second seems a bit of a joke. Keeper jumping up for ball, as is Villa player...contact is inevitable. Does that mean it must be a default foul on keeper?
