Without jinxing them Saturday I think tonight goes to show how good Liverpool are this year

They have had an easier start than most in the league so some had said that they got the best chance but tonight they just beat one of the best teams around

Not many comments about Slot and what a poor choice he was……
Early days, but it is a dream start for him. I guess it is hard to tell whether it is down to the manager, or just a really excellent purple patch for Liverpool up to early December?

Although, if it is down to the manager, then perhaps Klopp wasn't actually as good as some people like to believe. I mean, Klopp is definitely better than Roy Evans or Roy Hodgson, but maybe it will turn out he was actually the stepping stone manager to get Liverpool to a point where a better manager can take them forward?

I saw his interview before the Madrid game yesterday and as much as it pains me to say it , I really like the guy. Calm, polite, professional answered the questions asked of him well and there was no huffing and puffing or histrionics…..unlike the toothy clown who was in charge there before him.

But lets be fair, you could of put anyone in charge of that squad and got the same results.
He’s done nothing yet except pick the same players he was given, he’s made one signing and hardly played him for various eeasons.

He inherited arguably the best squad in the League and played them virtually the same way those players are use to playing.

He may turn out to be a great manager, but until he puts his mark on the squad or strengthens them, the jury’s out.

If he wins the PL this season, then I still think it’ll be looked at as Klopp’s team.

I would say he has improved many already, Gravenberch for example. They are also defending a lot better, and even Trent.

Too early to say, as I said he may turnout to be a fantastic manager.

He’s inherited a team at the top, full of confidence, normally in 99% of cases any New Manager in the PL is appointed because the previous manager has been sacked with a Club/Team in turmoil.

Obviously he’ll have his own ideas etc and prefer one player over another, but they aren’t his signings, Klopp would of seen Gravenbech’s potiential when he bought him.

It is very easy to be calm and polite, and avoid huffing, when you are winning every week. Let's see what happens when he goes through a period of pain.

Just look at Pep. Looks like a great guy when his team are in the process of winning a treble. But, after losing 5 in a row, he gets into a right state.
