Literally games of 2 halves , we had the beating of you in the 1st half, our high press being particularly effective. You mullered us in the 2nd half, don’t know if we run out of gas or Moyse told the players to sit deeper…it happens.
Thought the ref was poor, bottled sending off your big lump (22?)for a second bookable, then booked Alvarez when he was the player being fouled!
Had the added entertainment of watching Emery’s antics..all game he was jumping around like a demented Chimpanzee! Highly amusing.

Weird to have 3 goals ruled out. At least some chances were created
Phillips is really going to have to up his game he will be starting 3 out of the next 4 providing he doesn't get sent off

Re Phillips, I thought DM might have given him 20 minutes too but went with Ward-Prowse

Probably. The one I’d be more concerned about was when he was offside, although clearly wouldn’t have known it, and missed the target again when clean through.

We had a preview of the Ward-Prowse, Soucek, Phillips spine against Burnley… We are going to be in trouble!
Good point today, would have took that at the start of the game… but you know how it goes, once you are one up anything less than a win is disappointing.
