Shocking from villa today, players just looked slow and sluggish. Easy to play against and spurs just have so much pace.

I'm not a Burnley fan but I admire the way they have kept plugging away and that they have stuck with Company when most chairmen would have binned him off despite having a sub standard squad.

Pivotal game for both sides today Spurs benefited from your mid week away game, Villa looked off the pace from the start and when McGinn was sent off that sealed the win.
Think Spurs look favorite for 4th now , commentator said the most games Spurs could play this season is 41 and Villa are already on that mark.
Obviously I hope Spurs finish 4th but hope Villa don’t run out of steam and let Man Utd overtake you for 5th.

Honestly I’m not fussed about finishing 4th or 5th just cannot see us drop to 6th. That would be embarrassing.
Spurs are solid, have far more top players across the board than we do. If we had a full strength 11 then I think it would have been another good game, let’s not forget we beat them at their place earlier this season but today we just had nothing and they have some real quality players who made easy pickings of us today.
What I do care about is going far in Europe this year. Thursday is absolutely massive for us.
