The thing was when he burst onto the scene (not in a Michah Richards way) he would track back, chase lost balls and put a shift in. He's clearly surrounded by yes men and is living in a dreamworld.

I rate him higher than most and he was the main reason Man Utd finished in the top four last season and won a trophy. How can you go from 30 goals and carrying a team to looking like a passenger who has a PR team putting this stuff out?
I just think he had a purple patch after the World Cup.
He probably grew up with everyone telling him how good he was & doesn’t have the hunger for it.
Probably on £300k pw?
Some don’t like Ronaldo, but got to give him credit, even with all that ability he’s still worked hard.

Ronaldo worked as hard as possible to be the best he could possibly be. Rashford doesn’t even come close to deserving what he has based on what he does out on the pitch.

Despite outward appearances I’m actually quite a forgiving fella. But I will never forgive anyone for a lack of effort, whatever they do and whoever they are. Wasting a talent through lack of effort, when the huge majority will never be blessed with such talent, is about as unforgivable as it gets.

He’s 26yrs old. He’s got one good transfer in him, with a big signing on fee. If he doesn’t put in the request but pushes Utd to sell him, he gets a decent % of that too.
He’d have to go abroad imo.
He’s not good enough to tempt City,Liverpool or Arsenal to give him £300k pw.
Chelsea would probably offer him a 8 yr contract on £350k pw tho 😂

Suarez has got to be the most deserving of a slap.
Bit 3 opposition players & racially abused another.
Bit 3 opponents 🤯
How was he allowed to play again after 2?? 😂😂

Think a nice move to Spain will suit him , Atletico would be good , Madrid would be interested as well

Only Chelsea would be silly enough to spend money on him

Still think there is a player there

we’ve seen what he can do when he’s up for it. He needs the right manager to put him back on track.

I agree

Think Klopp would get the best out of him , not sure if he would suit City but if Ten Haag stays they I think Rashford leaves

Rashford is 26 years old.
He could probably keep churning out that same performances for another 6 year & UTD will make home a top earner.
That’s why UTD won’t challenge for a title for a long time.
Martial,how is he still there??
Antony is horrendous.
Don’t like Fernandes, but put him in a good team with a good manager & he’s good enough.

We had this chat in here recently.

There could be a mixture of reasons. Firstly, drop Rashford who has the potential to play well, for who? He might think there are no real suitable replacements.

Secondly, he might feel the only way to gey Rashford back again, on form, it to play him and hope a few performances spark that confidence. Might feel dropping him will do more harm than good.

All I know is ETH wants to win football matches. So he is clearly trying to make decisions to give him the best chance, and he thinks picking Rashford is beat.

Besides, if he drops Rashford and Utd are still rubbish, you can bet many will say the big reason we are losing is because the "star" is not playing, and that is ETH's fault. Pretty much what people have said about Sancho. Whereas if he keeps picking him, and he continues to be awful, the ETH can more confidently go to Owners and say "it is clearly not working with Rashford, selling him would be best for everyone and let's get someone better in"
So a club like Man U don’t have anyone better than Rashford at his worst, that’s not good.

That article/video Rashford has released sums up his problem perfectly. Utterly deluded. No one really cares about him bar Man Utd fans. I'd argue he's got a great reputatuon across the country due to his charity work but he's trying to portray himself as some sort of victim who has struggled and everyone hates. He claims to be an introvert yet happily drives around Manc in a gold Bentley parking on pavements :ROFLMAO:

All this drama and attention seeking is needless. It never happens at other top clubs yet it's a regular event at Old Trafford. The club and manager can't have allowed that to be released during a really crucial few weeks. In the words of Roy Keane "Just do your job".

Man Utd are far bigger than the likes of Ronaldo, let alone him. I think it's highly likely he'll join PSG in the summer to replace Mbappe where he'll be hero worshipped and the fresh start will do him good.
PSG fans quickly turned on Messi and Mbappe. And they were far bigger stars than Rashford. Rashford needs to have a long hard look at himself coz at the moment he seems to be chasing his money more than the ball.

I respected him for his work during Covid. He could have pulled the ramp up and got through it like most but he chose to do something positive. However I feel that since then it's had an effect on his football almost like he feels the Covid work entitles him to turn up and get away with average performances. I disagree that Spain is a good move. He's a Manchester lad and I feel he would be better in the UK. I personally feel that EtH isn't managing him properly and doing enough to get him motivated. Rashford has to accept his form is poor but EtH is also culpable

He’s been the same under other managers.
He’s not a child,he doesn’t need managing properly,he needs to grow up & earn his money.
Same with many other prima Donnas in the game.

We know how bad Man Utd are. But, as I said, if he is playing I'm sure the manager isn't picking him to play his worst football. He is picking him with the hope he will somehow spark back to life, and do good things others in the squad definitely won't give you.

I wonder what else ETH should do? Maybe have a movie day at training, or take them all to Alton Towers on a company day out? :)

add Lee Dixon to the list, as well as Iain Dowie...never have two footballers had so punchable faces.
About 6 or 7 years ago, I had a golf weekend at The Oxfordshire. After 2nd round, went up to bar to get a drink. Then, another chap wearing a suit and holding a brief case came up to bar. It was Iain Dowie, working as a salesman.

He came a long way from managing in Premier League.

I didn't punch him though, Northern Ireland legend. 12 goals, putting him right up there as one of the top goalscorers we have ever had (and only dropped down to about 5th in list since Healy and Lafferty overtook him)
