He’s a crap ref.

Gallaher kicks the ball away nothing.
Nunez kicks it away Yellow card.

Thats a pen for Chelsea second half but his VAR crony just backs him up.

The reason Liverpool fans don’t like him is we’re on the end of bad decisions like that all the time because he does so many of our games!

Awesome from the reds Jota brilliant but Bradley mom how good is he.

Some nice footy from Chelsea but nothing up front!
If Tierney whilst reffing Liverpool before referees to that standard at the highest level on a regular basis. I would have to ask the question why? He had a shocker. But why was he not helped by VAR. What made me chuckle last night was not so much the over reaction of being on the end a life changing challenge. But the total innocence ” hands up its not me, how dare he try to con me” look from defenders. They must practice that shocked stance in front of the mirror.

If you mean Bradley, he's an Ulsterman.
Doh 😣 🤦‍♂️ - that’s what happens when. Subliming listening to the studio 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂

In what way did the ref have a shocker - the tackle on Nkunku prob should have been given by the VAR , tough for the ref to give it with the way the Chelsea players were diving multiple times when in the box

The other two penalties- soft and subjective , but he carded player for dissent , carded them for diving or kicking the ball away , in the grand scheme of things for a poor ref if was one of his better performances

Well based purely on the 3 penalty decisions he had a bad game:

The clearest and most blatant penalty was the one for Chelsea on Nkunku and he got that wrong and surprise surprise VAR agreed with him. The other 2 were soft and similar. For me if you give one then you give the other too (theres that consistency wed all like to see). So shouldve been either 1 penalty to Chelsea or 2 to Chelsea and 1 to Liverpool (under the current rules I expect all 3 should be given). So a net of one to Chelsea. He gave the 1 to Liverpool and neither to Chelsea so a net of 1 to Liverpool. Pretty sure if youre a Chelsea fan (or most neutrals) the ref (and especially the VAR) have had a shocker, can see why Liverpool fans had no problem

Yet again VAR inability to see the blatantly obvious is the talking point rather than the clear main talking point, Darwin and his love of the woodwork ;)

Very accurate synopsis. VAR had the bigger shocker on the night although I thought the ref could have been better himself

The BBC trying to drum up interest in deadline day with the best signing on deadline day history

For me there is no competition

Bowen from hull to west ham

£22 million

184 games 54 goals

Winning goal in conference final

Highest scorer in the league for years for us

Don't think you can get much better

Value for money wise Bowen hands down.

Cole was sold on 10th January to man united if that's what you are referring to. Before transfer windows were a thing no? Even still he isn't deadline day signing

Vvd arrived the 1st January

Going down that list none of them

Signed on deadline day

Cahill was a summer move

@Bunkermagnet is closest as Suarez was signed on deadline day

If it’s deadline day only then it’s Suarez

Ability wise yes I'd agree.

Left for a good price aswell

However the racist bit and the biting would put him down the list for me, didn't reflect well on the club no?

I think it was offset by the 82 goals he scored so they didn't care. No morals in football, as Gordon Strachan famously said.
