It's not often you secretly like another clubs managers at times, so fair play to Klopp for doing that with me. I'd say Pep is the same tbh and and big Ang. Please note I said some of the time, as other times they all drive me mad.

He is very obviously a fantastic man manager and his enthusiasm is I imagine contagious if your a player or fan of his club.

The PL will miss him and fair play for his success at Liverpool.

For me, Alonso is the only choice (Gerrard would be a complete disaster) As for his future, I'd guess Bayern.

How Liverpool react to this news will be interesting to watch.

P.s. we have an ex manager of Liverpool I could drive upto Anfield if they want a stop gap..

I often find Klopp’s touchline antics a little irritating, but away from the cut and thrust of the action, he is invariably a class act. Love his interviews, and generally find him a really likeable fella.

As a United fan I’m delighted he’s leaving Liverpool. As a fan of the Premier League I’m gutted. He will be a huge loss to football in this country.

Remember the days of Klopp Out? 😂

Great manager, nice guy, just boss. Have always admired what he’s done. Pains me to say it but I think he’s been the best manager the premier league has seen.

It’s not about the trophies. He’s done wonders for the reds. Leaving on his own terms too you can’t ask for more.

Not sure why the foul on the keeper wasn't given when we've seen them given plenty of times this season. Oh well.
Why would it be a foul. City player was in front of keeper. No law against that. Ball came towards them both. City player tried to head it, keeper tried to barge through him to get ball first. He was unable to.

I didn't see the City player pull or push the keeper. So should it just be a foul because he was stood in front of him?

It looked to me like Dias leaned in and elbowed him in the ribs to stop him jumping, but I only saw it briefly on an iPad screen.

He made a handful of mistakes all night. He was very very weak. How a defender has not got up to that before it got to the keeper is beyond me especially as City had pumped balls into that area all night.
Re Spurs I was gobsmacked. They had a chance to play in Werner loads of times, yet never found him. Reminded me of Haalands first game v Liverpool in the charity shield. I think him and Son will link up really well. 1 chance in the game for the Spuds is poor.
Lad went last night and said the stadium is immense.

If he wanted a free kick he should have just sat down and shrugged his shoulders at the first contact. It works every time KDB does it anyway.
Yeah like when he went shoulder to shoulder with a bigger man who ended up on his backside and got the foul.👍

From a Spurs point of view, I would be disappointed with three things with that goal.
1, keeper should of been stronger
2, A defender should have been in front of Diaz and getting up for the header.
3, The defender was slower than Ake in reacting.

That said, Even though Spurs looked very dodgy at the back, they need to persevere with it. They look a season or two behind City laying out from the back but it will come. 👍

No issue with the goal, City put a man in front of Vicario on every corner and we should have tried to protect him better. I wouldn’t be to hard on Vicario he’s been immense this season and rarely made a mistake.

Two close games with City with just a late goal separating them, with Son missing and also our best midfield players, I couldn’t help thinking of the times Werner could have been through with the right pass.

Thought City were superb and dominated the game, but our squad hasn’t the depth of talent that City have.

I've just heard that the match between Genk and Anderlecht is to be replayed, after Genk appealed due to a VAR blunder.

From what I understand, the referee wrongly cancelled put a scored penalty for encroachment, despite this not being case. Score was 0-0 at time. Genk went 1-0 up anyway later, but lost match 2-1. So not even like it was an incident right at the death.

What a can of worms that has opened. If clubs will legally be able to get replays, that would very much be the death of VAR

I wonder when our replay with Spurs will be then?😂😂

Spurs have to look At the positives, and at times When Spurs had the ball they looked very very good.
They are moving in the right direction.

In old football yeah, but in the VAR era they are usually given as fouls on the keeper.

Never a foul, VAR era or otherwise. The difference to others that have been given is that in this case, the city player was trying to head the ball, which he’s entitled to do, he wasn’t trying to impede the keeper. He’s not obliged to move out of the keepers way, keeper needs to be stronger and use his hands better.
