Sod who is replacing him.....where is he going?

We've all heard the "running out of energy need a break" excuse before....and then 4 months after "finishing" the person is back managing a high profile club again.

He will be back, somewhere.
Seeing rumours that he has a long term, degenerative illness and he wants time to assess what his limits will be. MS has been mentioned.

Obviously no way to know if there is any truth in this, but also shows that we should sometimes just wait and see.

As he did when he left Dortmund under the same sort of circumstances- he will take a year out and then look at options after but he won’t be back in England with any other club or country so he may end up at Bayern or back to Dortmund

That's fair enough. If that is indeed the case then yeah...we will just have to bide our time and wish the fella well whatever happens.

Amazing you have "seen these rumours", yet didn't know he was going to leave.....

If he did take a break out of the game and assuming these rumours of an illness are false, would the Germany job be available especially if they don't perform at the next Euros
They've just appointed Nagelsmann though, and their last manager was given 15 years so I don't imagine they'd remove him that quickly.

You haven’t notice time has passed since it being announced this morning and now?
Spreading nonsense rumours about people having serious illnesses is not good form by any stretch and the sort of stuff best left to Twitter

You have no idea if it’s nonsense or not, the same as I don’t. His language in his interview did seem to be worded in a way that suggested of the potential of a bigger reason for his decision.

Saying so isn’t disrespectful or damaging to him.

Let’s see your source then

You want me to show you my own private messages between friends and colleagues where I’ve had people share their opinions and mention things they’ve seen on other forms of social media?

No. Of course I won’t do that.

You could easily search for the speculation yourself and it’s not hard to find.

Rumours are vague by their very nature which is why I said that they were just rumours. It’s human nature to wonder why.

Let’s nip this one in the bud please, fellas. Klopp is going. We may or may not find out why. But please let’s not fall out over rumours which may or may not have any substance.

I wouldn't believe ill health rumours at all, especially now. Nobody seemed to know (in the public) that he was even going to leave Liverpool, so since he announced his decision this morning, who on earth could be releasing information about his health, that could be considered credible? His doctor, family member, club official?

Ill health, although I hope is not true, is a plausible explanation for this sudden announcement. But to come to the definite conclusion he has an illness is definitely putting 2 and 2 together to get 5.

It is really surprising as well, as it looks like he is in the early stages of building a new side, he has a contract until 2026, and so you'd think he'd be enthusiastic about seeing that through. Seems an odd time to suddenly feel you lack energy when things aren't going too badly on the pitch.

Been out the loop today. Only the guardian let me know about klopp so missed the real big news

Phillips signs on loan, rumour to be 40 million option to buy.

Delighted with that tbh
