Anyone who appoints Ed Woodward, lets him oversee the downfall of the club and then leave on his own terms - is pretty thick in my book!

Think what United would be worth if after Fergie you appointed Pep and all the old barca people in your structure above, you'd be so clear of the competition its unfathomable.

I don't pretend to be an expert in what goes on with finances behind the scenes, but from what I heard Woodward was excellent at generating revenue away from the pitch, thus very much helped line the pockets of the Glazers.

He was just awful on the football side of things. In his first transfer window, he signed Fellaini

In fairness, I thought he was reacting to Cresswell grabbing him, and trying to free himself.

Also, it seemed to happen a long way away from referee, and pretty much off the ball (from memory). So not sure if it would have been seen by officials. Think the yellow card was for them arguing a bit later on.

The lino was that side and right there

Benny kicks out rightly sent off

The first slap was getting free from wrestle the second was thrown . It's 100% a red card. Not even booked for that .. was booked for the challenge 30 seconds later

It's funny in a way. So many fans want VAR gone, and said they'd accept that onfield officials sometimes make mistakes.

But then it is reactions like this that makes me think they are lying

I defo don't want var gone. Never have. Would like it sped up

We will lose this and the lack of authority from the ref will have played a part .. leaves a bad taste when they have played some great football but when rubbish like that happens it's always a what if.

Based on the standards fans judge them, there are probably not many good referees worldwide.

It is a hard job, with so many subjective decisions to make, in which many fans are 100% certain on their own opinion of most incidents. Like tonight. Some may be 100% certain Bristol player should be sent off, others 100% sure it is not a red card.

That’s footy fans for you though. But most fans are more critical of the VAR refs how can they make the cock ups they have made lately with multiple screens and slow mo?
onfield ref has one look so I give him the benefit.!

But Tawkofski for Everton did two like that Sunday.( he did get the ball )
