Where would City be without that cash though? Championship yo yo team?
That’s a very very lazy post Ron. City have been in the Prem league since 2002/03 that was without “that cash”. That cash has transformed City, the acadamy ( three acadamy players played tonight). The eastlands of Manchester. Vast employment on match days. Pumped hundreds of millions into football whilst some have taken hundreds of millions out. Very happy days being a City fan at the moment. 👍

A very well disciplined performance from Sheffield united. Villa lacked a bit of quality/paitence with the final ball to break the low block down.

3 games in the last week, Liv v Utd, Chelsea v Toon, Villa v Sheff, have all shown that if one team decides to shut up shop then it is incredibly difficult to break them down if they are well organised. This gets amplified as the game goes on.

Get a goal early, totally different story, but if not and the other team have no interest in crossing the halfway line, it's tough.

Thats the beauty of football.

Yes to some its anti football but i totally understand why teams do it.

If you cant break down teams in open play then you need to be making chances from set plays.

Both utd's got a point when no one expected, Newcastle nearly nicked it when out on their knees. I don't blame any in their situation. You just have to hope, for the neutral, that they aren't one of the televised games 😆. Great for the team pinching the point, awful for everyone else. Not their problem though.

I think West Ham would be a fairer comparison. But then again, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds were big clubs too, and they’ve had a hard time.

Pep Bought Mahrez because he thought teams would sit back more, he thought Mahrez would be the key to help I lock the door. He was.Teams did sit back. More and more teams are sitting back and making it harder. That point, and it could of been 3 is massive for Sheff Utd.

The gift that just keeps on giving 😂😂👍
They couldn't run an orgy in a brothel this lot.

Just want to apologise to @Bdill93 - if you were wondering why Villa bottled going top, it was because I brought Watkins back into my fantasy team and made him captain. Sorry.

It’s odd but when City were rammel and getting battered by York 25 years ago, the Utd fans never stopped taking the mickey. Now City are at the top of the Xmas tree I am still getting grief off Utd folk on Facebook, folk who I have not seen for years. Now don’t get me wrong, I know City have 115 charges, but that don’t mean Utd would of won everything.

Common denominator suggests it may be a Manchester thing? 😉
