Varane alongside Maguire, with Fernandes, McTominay and Amrabat in front of them, is possibly the slowest spine I have ever seen start a game for United. I think I’d have been tempted to start Mainoo alongside Amrabat.

But that’s why I’m a semi retired, middle aged, part time driver and ETH manages Manchester United. I have a 3-1 Bayern win in my Super 6. Watch United win at a canter and either Galatasary or Copenhagen score a 115th minute winner.

Got to say, that was abysmal by Onana. As soon as Kane played that through ball, surely Onana had to be charging out to narrow the angle. He seemed to run sideways to the near post, leaving the entire half of the goal to score in.
