Great result that. In Ange we trust! Doing well to get a point at City without a single centre back in the squad. Great game to watch.
It was a great game.
But I had my head in my hands ,some of the chances spurs take in their own half is mad.
Spurs fans must have no nails left.
Deserved the point.

The technical ability of players in the PL now is astonishing.

A player was sent off the other week for swearing at a ref
Whilst I agree any swearing at the officials should be off, there is a difference between telling the ref to "off" and calling the ref a "end"

Ones more direct

I couldn't be fagged watching the post match chat but the above was my first thought. Did the linesman tell him he's off and that's why he blew. That would be logical.

Anyway, Grealish doesn't have the pace to run that far with two men on him 😄
Why would the linesman have a flag and not use it, and instead just have a private word with ref on the mic!?

No, he usually falls over and wins a freekick.

The “best club in the world” having spurs as a bogey team is somehow the most spurs thing ever
They're not even the biggest club in Greater Manchester!!

Taking club bias aside, there's no way on planet earth City earn more as a football club than Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich. It's impossible.

Have you not been watching PL football for the last 18months????
Have you!?

Even if the linesman thinks it is marginally offside, they don't raise flag. They then let VAR decide if goal scored, or raise it once chance is gone. The ENTIRE point in doing this is to ensure ref doesn't stop game.

So why on earth would the linesman not raise flag in this situation, but whisper to the ref to stop play anyway!? Or why would ref stop play knowing linesman not confident enough to raise flag? Makes no sense, and the impact of what they did ate the hostile reactions from players and fans for stopping a goal chance.
