So Rico Lewis making his debut at left back having never played there. He has played defensive midfield and the odd game at Right back. This is the sort of rubbish that riles the English fans.

Rather than focus on the previous match, let's focus on tonight. What would you ask of your England manager? For example:

• Play as strong a team as he can and try and give as strong a performance as he can?
• Play as many irregular players as he can, giving them experience in the England shirt
• A bit of both. And if so, what balance or experience and inexperience?

You can even name your preferred line-up if you wish. I honestly wouldn't mind if he went as strong as possible, especially when there is an argument that travelling fans are paying to go watch them. But, as they've won the group and there is so much demand for him to give others a chance, I'd go for a mixture as follows:

Ramsdale

Walker Tomori Maguire Lewis

TAA Rice Gallagher

Bowen Watkins Grealish

Well, I got 7 out of 11 right. Might have been 8 if I knew Bowen had gone home

I think he has played left back once or twice.But he has nearly always dropped into midfield playing the Stones or TAA role.

Foden is used to getting the ball at his feet under pressure.

Nobody has the vision to see this on the pitch. Looks like there scared of making a mistake.

Maguire lucky not to give a pen away , more of one than the one he gave imo.

Were trying to play through them down the middle, it’s not working but the only time we have gone down behind them Watkins is in the box on his own.
