I'd happily give Mount a run in the team for 5 games ahead of Bruno. Bruno needs time to sit out, and not feel invincible. Garnacho for Rashford as well.

Although our fullbacks at the moment must be the worst in the league by far. Probably an important role to help build attacks, but they are simply atrocious.

Well, I’m not going to lie. That was awful. No shape, no clear tactical plan, no discipline. The odd moment aside there was absolutely nothing about that performance to give me any hope at all.

Anyone want my ticket for Wednesday night? Not sure I can summon up the enthusiasm to go.

I think I said it in the week, but one of the biggest misses this season is Luke Shaw. AWB not far behind.

If you’re a City player looking at that back four you’re licking your lips. It’s bang average at best.

City schooled Utd 2nd half , Utd lost all their discipline and it comes from their captain Fernandes. Utd lucky it was only 3 .

A dreadful choice as captain - thought so when it was announced. But I’m not sure there are any leaders anywhere in the squad.

It was a key game in them qualifying, but you still expect them to go through.

Doesn't sound very key to me :)

If they'd won that they were in A1 position, which is why it's a key game. It would've enabled them to potentially rest key players for the final couple of CL games and focus on the PL. As it is they've got a real fight on their hands to go through. I fancy them to do it, I don't expect it after that result.

Thanks mate. I did win the Champions League with Everton on Football Manager 2005, so the credentials are all there. Revolutionary 4-1-1-4 formation that weirdly hasn't caught on.
Now that was a game and a half. The perfect mix of old school Champ Manager with the new game engine of FM. You could get through a season in a day unlike now where it takes you a month! Sure Pep tried that formation at Barcelona back in the day

Fernandes is not captain material whatsoever. He is an absolute disgrace, no leadership qualities.
When the chips are down, he’s the first to give up. He has NO character or backbone.
I’ve never seen a player before asking to be substituted when his team are being humiliated.
Should have been sent off imo.
He had a swipe at Stones from behind but wasn’t even fast enough to foul him.
Horrible footballer.

When he first arrived in 2020 he was a breath of fresh air. I was at Old Trafford for his first few home games before Covid struck and he was a level above anyone else in a red shirt - with and without the ball. His range of passing was exceptional and his movement off the ball phenomenal. I’ve rarely seen a player create space for himself, and therefore time, in quite the way Bruno did.

Now, whilst we see flashes of that, he is largely a shadow of that player. And he is a nasty, argumentative player, always complaining and never in a month of Sundays is he captaincy material.

Your captain should lead by example - too often Fernandes sets an appalling one.

Villa are class, I love football.

Also - United have now lost more games at home since fergie retired than they did in his whole tenure…

Happy sunday! 💜💙

Villa are a great watch. And it speaks volumes, as a United fan, that I have two Villa players in my Fantasy League squad - I have no United players.

Yes I remember the days when the only way defenders could cope with Utd players was to hack them down.
Now it’s the other way around.
Some very unprofessional behaviour out there Today.

Only because he had the refs in his pocket during that time.

What makes you fancy them?? On their previous performances i cant see how they win enough games to get through.

LiverpoolPhil was ridiculed on here by many after he questioned Fernandes.

He was right. He's nothing but a show pony.
