So new VAR protocols introduced after last weeks human error, whats the thoughts on this?

As much as it may be needed, i feel it's unfair on the teams that have fallen foul of the previous human errors/ incompetence/gross negligence. 12 apologies this seaeon and its only 7weeks old!!

The main question is, Is it fair to change protocols mid season? I dont think it is.
The integrity of the competition has been brought into disrepute for me.
Not sure if you’re being serious here La🤔
Or had too much sauce🤔

What makes you think i'm not being serious?

No sauce for me on friday's for the forseeable, daughter taxi duties put paid to that.
So you think change is needed, but you don’t want them?
Is this in the hope that others fall foul to errors?
Imagine if it happened to Liverpool again.
Not sure the internet could handle that 😬

If they don’t change the protocols, some errors won’t be eradicated. Also, all the teams were subject to the same protocols, and all team will be subject to the same new protocols going forward. Those that lost out to mistakes previously could fall foul again if the rules aren’t changed, as well as other teams falling foul for the first time.

I feel the integrity of the game is enhanced by improving the protocols.

I understood why they changed the protocols, changing them through out the season doesnt sit right with me. It's similar to when the Carabao Cup uses VAR only for the semi's and final.

That is a ridiculous way to look at it.

A serious human error was made last week. We all know it. So they change protocol to try and reduce odds of that happening again. If they didn't, and another huge error was made this season, it could just as easily happen against Liverpool again, as with any other team. And if it happened to Liverpool again, I can guarantee Liverpool fans would be screaming it is a disgrace nothing was done immediately after it first happened
Its not ridiculous, its an alternative view.

This is not about LIVERPOOL, it is about the PL as a whole.

In other news...
Just been watching The Big Match from 1978, think it was Arsenal vs Wrexham and Middlesbrough vs Leyton Orient. I know the pitches weren't great then but the standard of football on display was truly shocking 😱
I must have seen 3 clear penalties in the second game alone, and people moan about refs these days 🤣

I love seeing old episodes like that. Talk about different eras 😳. It's why you really can't compare then and now. Great stuff though.
