Fat bird says to her husband “ do I look fat in this Dress”.
Husband says “ Do I look bald in this tie”
Fat bird “says you are bald”.
He says “.exactly”
A lot of Utd fans will look fat.
The fat legendary geordie fan does it right. He don’t wear stripes. Good dress sense that lad 😁👍

But strips are slimming no? It's hoops that make you look fatter

Nah, when was the last time you saw a fat packet of polos😁👍
I'm pretty sure @pauljames87 has this one right. Stripes slim, hoops make you look big. It's exactly why Newcastle have black and white stripes 🤣 (black is also slimming 😉) Double check with Mrs Tash on this one,

Okay, maybe not exactly why but it's turned out to be very useful.

Oh, and the utd kit is still horrible

This seems to be an ongoing argument for which there is no definitive answer.

I think the only real answer to looking slimmer is to lose weight.

On less serious matters, 🤭 , I see the Utd sale is off. Ouch!
Should the glaziers not be in the what is a troll thread. 😂
They are the gift that keeps giving. But from a City fans point of view. That’s not the best news from the swamp today.
This is

I saw that incident for the first time last night and for the life of me couldn't understand why it wasn't given offside within about 10 seconds.
At first I thought he tried to play the ball.
But he was jumping to get out of the way of it.
How a PL ref can’t see that is quite astonishing really.

wonder how many times he looked at it to convince himself he wasn’t interfering.

In instances like the City “ Goal”. I often wonder what the outcry would be if it had been disallowed. In this instance there would have been none. And we would have all said “ the ref and VAR called it right and that what VAR is there for”.

I was all for VAR to stop this sort of thing.
but in some not all cases there seems no logic or consistent decisions.

Just watched Refs miced/up on TV.
michael Owen and Howard Webb talking about it.
Webb said “ it should have been disallowed”

But listening to the VAR refs they never once mentioned the effect the player has on the Keeper.
Just a full dive effort to save it.

Imo if any player is offside in the six yrd box between the posts he’s interfering with the Keeper.

The “is the player interfering or not” requires a subjective decision from the ref/linesman. I feel the subjectivity can be taken out of it by saying “you’re in an offside position.” Put the onus on the player to stay onside. Makes the ref’s and linesman’s job a lot easier and makes things unambiguous for the players = less arguing.
