Cole Palmer to Chelsea seems a strange one to me.
Why has Pep let him go??
Odd decision for Palmer as well. Swap one bench for another, just don't get the Premier League winners medal at the end. Arguably he'd probably have more minutes out of Pep than he will at Chelsea! Very odd. Has he not seen what happens to young English players who go there?

Chelsea spending £40 plus mil on another wide forward who has started under 10 games in his career - takes the spending to over £1bn in 12 months , that Saudi money is certainly going a long way.

Over 30 players in the squad now

If they don’t win trophies and challenge City then that’s going to one monumental failure to add to last seasons

Man Utd just about squeezing a couple of mil to get a back up GK -

I'm inclined to think the winner here is us with £40m+. He's a talent but seems to want more game time and thinks Chelsea will provide that?!

They obviously won't, unless he turns out to be better than Sterling, Mudryk, Madueke and Chukwuemeka. And Nkunku whenever he is back. I don't know why young English players keep signing for them, they obviously just want the money and don't care if they play.

A loan move to Dortmund could have been a good move.

Forest are also winners with this deal going through. Means that we don't have to de-value Brennan Johnson (who has 8 more goals and 3 more assists than Palmer has for a similar position) for the sale to Spurs.

And if he does go, it gives us the funds to bring in Sangare from PSV who we've been after since last summer.

Deadline day already bonkers and still 12 hours to go.

Sky are desperate for Saudi to put this bid in for Salah - they are really pushing it despite the club being very clear - not for sale

Although would Palmer have scored more and set up more if he played for Forest instead of City?

Everyone is for sale LP. It's just the size of the offer that will decide if Salah stays or goes. If the Saudi's offer £50 million I can't see Liverpool agreeing to sell, but if they offered £500 million Liverpool would take it in a second. So there must be a figure in between those two values where Liverpool would think it's too good to turn down.

Even if they offered £150mil then the club aren’t selling and also don’t believe the player is interested as well. His agent was pretty clear when the rumours first come about.

If it was 8 weeks ago then it might have been different but not now imo

Just seen Liverpool have rejected a £150 million bid for Salah. That is an insane amount of money to turn down for a 31 year old. Although, I guess they may get a bit more if they haggle a bit, considering it is the first offer. If Salah is still at Liverpool tomorrow, I think they are crazy not cashing in now, especially when they have several forwards in the side already

It looks like Iwobi is off to Fulham for 'up to' £22m. He is in his last year at Everton so that is a decent deal for us. He has done okay the last two seasons but he is not so critical that we can let him run his contract down.

@fundy your fun is over now :ROFLMAO: . To be fair, once we stopped expecting him to be a lightning winger who would score 10 goals a season he turned out a decent player. He just had to find his role. Good luck to him at Fulham, he owes us nothing.

The club has no desire to sell him , the player has expressed no desire to leave , his agent has said there no intention of him leaving

The club will see the players contribution to the club and team right now as something that’s no for sale at any level , we don’t need the money to balance any books - it’s not a deal that favours the club
