So looks like there will be a bit of a merry go round of players about to happen

McTominay to Fulham

To replace Paulinha who is going to Bayern which will then allow Gravenburch to go to Liverpool

Gravenberch to Liverpool.
I'm not happy about that, I wanted him at United.

I’m surprised Chelsea are not bidding for him 😂

Looks a very good player and one that Klopp has been after for a while

Cole Palmer to Chelsea seems a strange one to me.
Why has Pep let him go??
More to the point, why do Chelsea want him? He might be very good but don't they already have 4 players for his position?

I suppose the answer is that selling Palmer near enough covers the signing of Nunes from Wolves, someone who has show already what they can do in the PL. Palmer is rated but still largely untested. City's academy has created some money for them this summer.

Agreed.
Just surprised to see Pep selling a young English player IF he’s all that.
Or does Pep not fancy him?

Absolutely, he is only young, he may just not have settled, not fitted in. Liverpool may be somewhere he feels more comfortable. Bayern were happy to sell though and not for a huge amount so they clearly didn't think he was worth persevering with for another year or 2.

Every signing needs at least one season to bed in, even if from the same league at times

Nothing frustrates me more than when fans write off signings so soon

Paquata was a fine example, took 8 months or so now he is outstanding

And @Pin-seeker they do get sold if a bigger club wants them and I'd say Liverpool are bigger in the fact they are premier league

He has hardly kicked a ball there especially since Tuchel arrived , the club looked to get him early in the summer but Munich weren’t interested in selling him hence they moved on to players like Lavia but all changed when the player doesn’t want another season on the bench. They wouldn’t get too much more for a player they only recently signed for £20mil

Always going to be tough to break into a midfield where Kimmich and Goretzka are near ever present and they just brought in Laimer as well

If Klopps been after him for a while like you say,why didn’t he sign him last season from Ajax for £20m? 🤷‍♂️
Strange

£20m not exactly big money for a player you’re after tho.
It isn't, nor is buying them a day or so before the deadline. I'd have though if they were after him for some time, the selling club would be looking for some reasonably long negotiations, and driving the price up as high as they can. For a club that has ambitions to compete at the top, and looking to bring in a top player that will pretty much be in their starting 11, then I'd have thought you'd have to spend at least £40-50 million, if you're lucky. Unless there is a release clause in the players contract I suppose, or the contract is nearly up.
