Yay. The Liverpool are hard done to/don’t cheat/the officials are against us/are holier than thou thread is back.
Way I see it is,he’s expecting a challenge so plays to it.Looks to me like his toe might of hit his sock.
even if he did touch him you don’t go down like that unless someone hoofs you.
The only defence is he’s expecting a clattering and trying to get out of the way ,but that’s a stretch!
Well for me if the defender has both feet planted on the floor and the striker runs into him that’s not a penalty.Zoom in on Doms right leg and defenders left leg - that’s contact and unfortunately as we have seen over the last 30 years it gives the player the excuse to go down and “earn” the penalty
Not sure what the length of supporting the club matters when looking at the current state of the team/club

it didnt warrant the dive either.
so basically Phil you’re agreeing with us that he took a dive to win the penalty. It doesn’t warrant the player going over the way he did but the defender left leg isn’t planted - he has gone for the ball missed , Dom has felt the smallest of touches as well as anticipated the tackle and gone to ground - it’s the type of penalty awards that shouldn’t be given but we see every season
I think it’s one of them that the crowd influenced the ref.It doesn’t warrant the player going over the way he did but the defender left leg isn’t planted - he has gone for the ball missed , Dom has felt the smallest of touches as well as anticipated the tackle and gone to ground - it’s the type of penalty awards that shouldn’t be given but we see every season
To be fair, he does hear lots and lots about Man Utd, as he probably follows hundreds of "I hate Man Utd" groups on twitter. So he can always come on here to give us his informed opinionsIt’s entirely relevant and I’m rather perplexed that you can’t see that a decades-long supporter of a club perhaps has a little more understanding of that club than someone who supports their biggest rivals!
It’s odd you should say that because I am on a few City sites and we get a few fans on from other teams and the rammel they spout. It’s unbelievable. But like the super cup final the other night. A guy walked into the City end in a Utd shirt. To be fair, he does hear lots and lots about Man Utd, as he probably follows hundreds of "I hate Man Utd" groups on twitter. He might have been an American, who tells everyone he is a big Manchester fan. Then he hears Manchester are in the final and gets tickets. It is only when he arrives it dawns on him that there are 2 clubs in Manchester....dohIt’s odd you should say that because I am on a few City sites and we get a few fans on from other teams and the rammel they spout. He must have a chromosome missing. How he got out alive Al never know. How he thought it was a good idea. How he even got in the ground is beyond me.
Fewer.Utd were so, so bad last season they only finished 8pts above Liverpool, conceding 13 less goals.
Why do you constantly pretend to have spoken to people in real life to express your opinions about football?Going off on Tangents.
Talking to the City lot tonight and they think that Spurs “ Got away with one tonight” re a handball. Ave seen the clip and it was nailed on for me. However as the fans said. “ a nailed on foul during Wolves was not given” so is this one to level it out. Whether it is or not. It’s two shocking decisions.
What the imaginary people in the James Joyce Irish pub in Athens last night. When people talk of thereWhy do you constantly pretend to have spoken to people in real life to express your opinions about football?
You make some good points occasionally, but I don't get why you are so rude and argumentative on such a regular basis? Are you like this in real life? Why do you constantly pretend to have spoken to people in real life to express your opinions about football?
I ask myself questions like “would You want to play 18 holes with someone like that”. The answer is always the same. You make some good points occasionally, but I don't get why you are so rude and argumentative on such a regular basis? Are you like this in real life?
