The FA is Southgate’s employer. He earns £5,000,000 a year.
Equal pay?

I'll biteLet me get this straight.
Women don’t know as much about coaching because the woman’s game hasn’t been around for as long?
Why would the FA sack the guy who has just won the European Championship for them?
I get what you are saying, and had England bombed it would have been a really interesting option.
She’s at the top of the women’s game!Maybe she'll do her job because she's a professional at the top of the game?
How do the men do it in the rest of the women's game? They wait for the team to change and then they go in. It ain't rocket science.
I think I pointed out that possibility when they started spending. What is it, wild card teams from around the world. Don't like it but it will happen. Interesting if they then have to comply with UEFA FFPRumours that the Saudi league have approached UEFA with a view to having there teams being able to play in the champs league from 2025.
Is it though. It may be but until someone gets a shot we do not know how transferable the knowledge sets are. She’s at the top of the women’s game!
Thats a very long way from England Mens manager imo.

I imagine that they'd have to. Or FFP would have to be scrapped. You can't have teams playing in the same competition under different rules.
Supporting a team that has half a dozen FFP charges hanging over their heads. I cannot really commentI think I pointed out that possibility when they started spending. Yes I agree .Is it though. It may be but until someone gets a shot we do not know how transferable the knowledge sets are.
Like Eurovision having the Aussies in.Rumours that the Saudi league have approached UEFA with a view to having there teams being able to play in the champs league from 2025.
Will be the death of the tournament if they are included - the clubs in Europe will certainly oppose it and it would just start of the European Super League talk againI think I pointed out that possibility when they started spending. Agree it would be only if Southgate stood down at the end of his contractYes I agree .
But you could say that about any manager.
The England job is nothing like club management.
I am not against her having a go.
But let’s be honest GS has had some terrible stick ,but in the grand scheme of things he’s been very successful.
Seems the FA have already said she is going no where. Also I mentioned she has got her teams to two Major finals. It’s actually three having got Holland to the last World Cup final.![]()
Sarina Wiegman: FA says any approaches would be '100% rejected'
Chief executive Mark Bullingham says the Football Association wants England manager Sarina Wiegman to remain in charge "for a very long time".www.bbc.co.uk
Not likely but if she was offered a job at a premier League club do you think that the fa could be seen to stand in the way if such an historic moment
I’m in the belief that we are years away from a women being given a managers role at any professional team in the football league
Massive risk for any team to take and also a huge risk for the women to take as well
