Southgate has been involved in TOP level sport for 30 years plus.
That doesn't mean he dies know more, but it does imo mean that generally those involved for longer will have a better grasp.

I think I pointed out that possibility when they started spending. What is it, wild card teams from around the world. Don't like it but it will happen. Interesting if they then have to comply with UEFA FFP

I imagine that they'd have to. Or FFP would have to be scrapped. You can't have teams playing in the same competition under different rules.

Will be the death of the tournament if they are included - the clubs in Europe will certainly oppose it and it would just start of the European Super League talk again
And they will have to comply with FFP which will negate the only reason they have the players

I’m in the belief that we are years away from a women being given a managers role at any professional team in the football league

How does that change then. Crowds may get bigger, transfer fees may go up but the players are not going to get more elite, you will not get anyone with a better record than taking teams to the last 4 finals of competitions she was managing in so when does it become the right time or are women going to be barred from entering management in the men's game forever.
