What’s actually happening with Caicedo now??

Alot of it is down to the players and their agents. I bet clubs will have been discussing contracts with loads of time to spare. However a touch of greed, a rumour of a little bit of interest from somewhere else and things can get protracted. It’s just business.

Chelsea can have Caciedo for £115 mil.
And as for him not being as good as rice or Bellingham , I think you will find out that you are wrong .he is the real deal with plenty to spare.
He is a defensive midfielder not an attacking one and as such his skills go under the radar compared to a more att k minded player.
He is also very versatile and can play in a back line comfortable in his skill and will be a great asset to which ever club wins his signature.

I think this sums up the changing game of a players role. Centre half’s used to win a ball and just bladder it up field. Now look at centre halves. No good if they cannot pass it. Look at John Stones taking it to another level.
Look at defensive midfielders. In the olden days they won it and gave it to players who could do something with it. Think Batty Ince etc etc. Now the best defensive midfielders win it, create and score.
not sure it makes them £115 million pound players though.

It’s not a real trophy. Super cup is just a game between champion and cup winner (or cup finalist if Bayern wins both). It’s like a trophy between a couple of teams sharing the same sponsor ;-)

Having watched the World Cup for the past few weeks, the PL games seem like they are 2x speed

You forget how good the quality is.

Worried for Liverpool, if don't get a deal done, this squad is razor thin, could be another disaster first half of season.

Well that was abysmal Newcastle fans disappointing too, only started singing songs at 3-1, expected a better showing from them.
