Its something that will be addressed over the next couple of windows in as much as the various financial rules will allow. But already you can see that there are players who have kicked on from last season (Gordon, Anderson), youth players who look ready to make the step up (Miley), some of the youth that we've bought and sent out on loan (Ashby, Kuol, Minteh - though no guarantees that they will push on with their development), Isak will hopefully have a season less blighted by injury (only played 22 league games last season)...and that's before you get to the new signings such as Tonali, Barnes and Livramento (admittedly though the latter is an unknown quantity after his injury).Newcastle looked decent yesterday and Tonali is a player.
Squad depth might be an issue as the season goes on though.
Can’t beat stereotypes ehI guess that is balanced by Liverpool being a worse City![]()
Stereotypes!????? It is pretty well known London is quite the draw when attracting footballers to clubs. No need to get so touchy that other people might actually prefer London to LiverpoolCan’t beat stereotypes eh
Here’s another in case it’s a quiet night.![]()
It will be a good intelligence testWonder how long its going to take for players to understand that they cant wave imaginary cards at the ref?
It will be a good intelligence test. It's a horrible habit, good to see it finally been dealt with.
Attention seekerDisappointing to see Klopp full of unnecessary histrionics today...throwing himself dramatically to his knees over a challenge in the centre of the park. He needs a play-pen rather than a technical area.
I wouldn't expect anything less from the guy.Disappointing to see Klopp full of unnecessary histrionics today...throwing himself dramatically to his knees over a challenge in the centre of the park. He needs a play-pen rather than a technical ararea.
