😂

So the club needed to bring in at least 3 players and had a budget of around £100-150mil to spend so decided to use the budget to bring in 3 equal quality players as opposed to blowing £100mil on one

Then the club got a bit of unexpected £50mil from selling Fabinho and Henderson which gave them a little boost to the funds which allowed them to spend £100mil on a player now.

I know it’s prob hard to imagine for you but circumstances change
£50 million was unexpected? But surely the likes of Henderson is World Class, so if Liverpool felt like selling them, then surely that is the minimum you'd expect? I mean, look how much Utd got for Maguire :)

Was Bellingham £90 million? Now Liverpool offering £110 million for a lesser player?

Ohh, it makes me smile. :)

Bellingham will be better than rice
Rice is better than the Brighton guy

So Liverpool have agreed the most expensive option for the lesser of the 3 players

Madness

Yes £50mil was unexpected - neither Fabinho or Henderson were planned to be sold 🤷‍♂️

Poor planning by Liverpool then. If they thought they had any chance with Bellingham, the likes of Henderson and Fabinho should have been transfer listed immediately.

However, I'm sure it wasn't poor planning, the simple fact being Bellingham was never going to say yes to Liverpool.

Looks like paquata Is off to city. Only have to agree a fee

As the clause for next summer is £85 mil id say anything over £90 mil would be excellent business

We paid £36 million (rising to £50 mil) last season in a record bid so good turnover

He was really starting to look cracking last 3 months of season , will miss him but for that money? He can be replaced

Why is it poor planning ?

We were losing 3 other centre mids so why would they transfer list two other ones

The Saudi money changed it all and the manager didn’t stand in the way of them

Nothing is set in stone - things move on

What the club was focussed on at the start of the summer changed through the summer

But Bellingham is a Madrid player -that’s who made the bid and that’s who he agreed the contract with

Ave been fortunate to see a few players over the years play against us and thought I would love to see him in a City shirt. Players like Paul Walsh, Trevor Francis, Haaland and now Paquata. He tore us apart at times when they played us last year. He never had a player in the West Ham team that seemed to be on his wave length.

£90m though...there we go inflating prices again. Shame on us :-)

Lol , got to be high tho hasn't it otherwise we hold onto him until next summer and sell for 85

Need to make it worth our while

70 plus Cole palmore I heard

The kit clash is quite strange

Burnley giving it a go and City losing KDB

So are you changing your prediction of running for the title if he doesn’t sign? 🤣😉

If he doesn’t sign then unless someone of similar ability comes in for that role it’s going to be tough

Haven’t seen enough of players like Lavia , Kone etc

It’s an area that we need to bring someone in very soon

It's a bit disappointing that Kane didn't go to Man City a couple of seasons ago. Then Haaland could've gone to Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea and the league would've been much more interesting. Just can't see how anyone else will finish above City if Haaland stays fit for the season.
