As i said when it was announced that Henderson was going there. It wouldn’t matter to Southgate where he played - i was more surprised people couldn’t see it

Bearing in mind the Stance taken for the World Cup I would have expected a stance to be taken on human rights grounds. To select Saudi based players would call in to question all of the messages put out then. But I suppose then you have to start looking at premier league funding on those grounds and that will never happen.

I have mentioned that I think the standard of play in the World Cup has been average. That said I have seen two of the best own goals ever in this World Cup.
I wonder how similar the Saudi league flooding the game with cash and pinching the best players and those on the down slide compares to LIV golf?
Some people slagged off the LIV golfers but the same doesn’t seem to apply to the Saudi bound footballers.

Think one big difference is going to Live there I guess, nobody is going to watch the saldi league because of who's playing if they don't have an interest in teams
Where as least with the golf people want to see brooks, Bryson and such
I don't overly care if kante leaves the league
Just back from Portugal and unreal the amount of Saudi Football tops with Ronaldo on the back, the team he plays for, mostly by British children, it will get bigger in countries where ever players are coming from play there.
