Don’t think it’s any surprise that VVD took the armband but really happy to see TAA become vice captain

Last season Klopp looked really tired but he seems very refreshed and excited about the season ahead

Think this season coming has the potential to be a great one with many teams looking strong

Did he look tired before last season began, or did he only look tired after poor results as the season progressed?

Ignore the fact that this is to the RUFC website but this details how the powers that be will try and address players and fans behaviours going forward. One measure is to show at least 1 player a card when referees are surrounded by players - be interested to see if that works and stops the harassment of officials.
It also details how fans can be punished for offensive chanting, etc

The FA are trying as well

Grassroots is clamping down on bad behaviour as well it seems, one of the football lads who coaches a youth team had this through recently.

Sadly, in my experience local FA’s remain incredibly reluctant to actually enforce any of these so-called clampdowns at grassroots level.

Numerous reports to our FA regarding the behaviour of one local team, it’s coaches and parents were completely ignored.

Yep
My son reffed youth footy back in the day. Mostly fine, but too many not fines tbh.
I have a friend who worked in Spain for a few years. No parents anywhere near the touchline, and coaches suitably supervised. It's a different world.

City make another £17 million from the sale of an academy player who never played one first team game. City have a buy back on him and a sell on. Where he gone to Ajax. City also have a sell on fee for Lavia who is quoted around £50 million.
The player that’s gone to Ajax looks a very exciting prospect indeed. However West Ham who were dragging their heels over the sale missed out. Apparently Moyes is livid with what’s happening at West Ham re transfers

City have made well over £200 million in sales from their academy. With the Lavia sell on to come.

Personally I think the tail is wagging the dog. It should have been instigated at the top so kids see their idols and clubs have points docked not the other way around. Local refs have enough on there plate dealing with unruly parents without being asked to instigate this.

Just catching the first half of the South Africa v Italy womens World Cup. It is garbage. This is such a cringey watch.
The first half may have been bad, didn't see it. But watching the last part of the game, and seems to be a terrific game. Back and forth, and South Africa just gone 3-2 up.

Awful own goal by Italy in first half.

Ooooo, and now Italy almost found the top corner.

My idea is if players constantly surround the ref.
Tell the Captain “ next time I will book you” if it happens again after that send the Captain off!
This will only happen once ,nobody wants to lose such an important player.
Captain and manager will make sure it dosnt happen anymore.

silly yes , effective yes if refs have the will.

If they brought that rule in, Ten Hag would never have stripped Maguire of the captaincy :)

Tidy goal to win. Can't help but think if we saw that build up in the men's game the Italian defender would have gone down as if kicked in the head...boot was highish but no contact.

Quality overall wasn't the best but lots at stake so a bit hurry scurry.

That is similar to what they have said in the report/proposal in that they say "at least 1 player will be booked". Will wait to see if it is actually implemented
