Didn't bat an eye lid when they paid almost double for Allison compared to what city paid for ederson .. remember city ruin the transfer market

Same with Virgil who at the time wasn't who he became .. proper inflated the market

Both World Class game changers who transformed a team and both were the best in their position in the world

Kepa more expensive than Allison , Maguire more expensive than VVD

Reaction was that according to everyone we had paid way over the odds for both

From anfield or twitter reaction?

Carvalho out an szoboslai in.... Not the kind of business I was expecting us to do. I'd still like to see a right back bought in then I'd be content.

Don’t see a right back arriving

TAA will be playing there then being the inverted full back

See at least one more arriving - a CB or a more Defensive minded player.

Think Matip may end up leaving

That’s mental wages 😲

£330k for Havertz and £300k for Mount

Personally think it's a mistake and missed opportunity to strengthen if we dont. I don't see Gomez being sufficient backup and it then means TAA isn't truly free to explore the new role.

Hopefully I'm miles off the mark and will be proven wrong (it happens occasionally), but it's a move I'd like to see us make.

The way we played towards the end of the year it wasn’t about moving TAA into a permanent midfield role as he still was on the right at times putting balls in , he just had license to roam with Konate and Henderson covering -

That’s the way we will go down. Bradley had a great season at Bolton and will be part of the squad and Gomez has been back up there a number of times.

There is a reason why there isn’t any talk about a right back coming in - but someone more mobile at CB to help

Does anyone know how to watch the U21s? Tried to find UEFA TV but probably need to subscribe...
