Only the same as when RVP was purchased

Kane has a good 4-5 years left in him

Difference is that RVP was brought in for a very specific purpose - to win that last title for Ferguson.

Buying Kane does not really fit the blueprint for a long term rebuild. I’m less than convinced he will be performing at this level for the next five years.

I couldn’t agree more Billy, I think as good as Kane is, He is very close to his sell by date.

Kane has at least another 5 seasons left in him , Lewondonski is 34 and still banging them in

Utd got RVP at 29/30 and his goals helped win them their last title

In a team with much better service than the spuds he will provide plenty of goals for years to come.

The perfect player to bridge the gap whilst you uncover the next haaland

5 years of kane with 20 a season would be perfect

Vital goals and a model pro

I’d perhaps agree if it wasn’t for what he’s likely to cost. I’m quite sure Osimhen or Martinez would score a decent number with the service they would get at United.

The pundits have been raving about Osimhen for some time now and he has scored a lot of goals in Italy - something like 50 in less than 80 games in a Napoli shirt. Who’s to say he’s not the next Haaland?

I’m all for a stop gap if there isn’t a decent alternative option available. There are alternatives out there and United can’t keep missing out on them.

However kanes contract ends 2024, his price will drop slightly can't risk him leaving for nout

Massive point at Stamford Bridge today. First away points since Jan and couldn’t come at a better time. We were knocking on the door at Liverpool and Brentford so was nice to finally reap some rewards today. Could have been 3 if Lodi’s wonderstrike had been 2 feet further right.

Now the small matter of putting the nail in Arsenal’s title hopes and confirm our safety next Saturday. 😅

Could also have 3 pts if it weren't for some idiotic midfield play leading to opposition goals. Again.
Good away point though. And given my regular PP is a Chelsea man, I reckon today I'll be the happier with the outcome.

So, Poch is the next Chelsea manager, and already all the talk is of the players the club is going to bring in.

Hmmmm. Not sure bringing in more players is actually the priority……
