I was musing that you were struggling to see Haaland as a positive?

I know you were probably just talking about tonight's performance, and a few others, rather than talking about City overall :)

Good result, and quite a few players will be fresh for Wolves

No I like Haaland,I was shaking my head after the weekend v Utd when a lot of City &and we’re slating him for not doing enough. As was stated on MOTD. he made runs but was never fed. He will do for me.
I think City are in a stage of transition. Talks of Gundoghan off to Barca end of the season and he won’t be the only one. Some fresh legs and energy required me finks. Another player who is doing well is Ake.

Yes Haarland made some fantastic runs but nobody had the vision to see it.
kDB does and was a big miss.
but City don’t really play the ball over the top very often as they never played with a proper CF for years.

Its like a morgue at City tonight.
Looks like Pep agrees with you. Just ready snippets from his interview:

"Guts, passion, fire to win from minute one. The same with the fans. They are silent for 45 minutes. I want my fans back. I want our fans to push us. Demand more. Say "come on guys". Show us more. We are a happy flowers team, all nice and good. I don't want to be a happy flower. I want to beat Arsenal. If we play that way Arsenal will destroy us".

Pep speaks for most of the fans, the ones that boo maybe a “ come on City” might be better. City aside I have never understood why fans don’t lift teams at certain points of a game. I get it when you’re in a relegation battle and been playing rammel all season but in Citys case they’re just not firing. Pep gets that, but booing. He has said the same as Tash, if City don’t up their game and dramatically. Then come the end of the season Arsenal fans will be sarcastically singing “Boring boring Arsenal” when they lift the title.
I think the happy flowers quote should be put in the “ Seagulls and trawlers” file ?

Forest fans will be happy. Very little action in the transfer market in the last year or so, so news of a signing will give them a buzz :)

Dont let @Aztecs27 hear you lol. Dont think hes too impressed with this one..............

Haha! I’ve been absolutely berated on Twitter for writing him off before he’s even played a minute. However, I’ll support him whilst he’s in the Garibaldi.

I don’t understand it, but I’m not a football coach. Hopefully Cooper works his magic and he proves me wrong, but I think he’s just a stop gap whilst Taiwo is injured….he’ll then slot into a back up role.

I’m more concerned about Deano missing extended time between the sticks. Hennessey doesn’t inspire confidence at all. ???

Why would signing Chris Wood make any fan happy? I've seen him live at Newcastle and on the tv and I really don't see what he brings. He is slow, fairly immobile, doesn't run channels, doesn't win much in the air, doesn't hold the ball up well, barely scores. He wont bring anything to improve Forest.

This is basically my opinion. But I hope he somehow comes good ??‍♂️??

I genuinely hope you are right. I don't wish him or Forest ill and so perhaps Cooper can trigger something that he had at Burnley.

I'd love to read the scouts report from Forest though, to understand what they are seeing.

Did you know Arsenal play in Red because of Forest ??

And after the match fising scandal of a few years ago, you have to really wonder what they were thinking and is this endemic in their culture, and perhaps even the Italian league.

This was something I mentioned a couple of weeks back re Juve, not sure it is finished yet.

If Haarland played for West Ham, Antonio would keep him out of the side.

Dithering Dave would say he’s not yet ready.

Take the positives

Soucek hasnt started. And Emerson has been given a game. What's the point of constantly starting cresswell when he is just as much of a liability and doesn't put in decent crosses anymore
