People admire the professionalism of Milner, respect his longevity. They also respect his ability as a PL player. He doesn't come close to PL legend however on anyone's list, well obviously apart from one person's list

Nobody is demeaning anything. They are just highlighting a few more supporting statistics.

Not thinking a player is a "legend" is hardly demeaning the player. It isn't like anyone was calling him garbage or a bad professional.

I'm sorry but he really isn't. He's been an excellent professional but he's squeezed out the last 4-5 years or so bit by bit. He's a solid pro, but not even close to legend.

Nah, his fitness must be out of this world to still be doing it in the top division and contributing to a decent side. Credit where it's due, he's had an exceptional career. He was very underrated at his peak too.
