Well, Amad had absolutely no interest in covering the back post for that one then

He’ll never make a right wingback. Defensively naive. And that’s being kind.

Clearly thought the first cross was going out near Dalot as he had started to jog upfield. And then way too slow to switch back on.

I’m not here to defend Salah per se, some, @clubchamp98 being one, have criticised him for a few seasons, some mentioned how he switched off for the last few months of the season and still put him in their team of the season.

I don’t think his workrate/attitude has been that much different to his last few seasons, but his goals and assists have rightly covered that up and with those not being at the level we’re used to, his flaws are being highlighted.

He has the ability to change a game in an instant, but ask him to track back or defend, the midfield & defense are not as strong and he’s in the spotlight.

Only time will tell if results without him in the team improve.
Yes I have been critical of Salah.
But I think Diaz and Nunez did enough running for all three harassing the defenders.
Losing them two has shown Salahs lack of pressing.
He will run at the defender but he won’t tackle him.

Jamie Carragher on Salah;

“He’s thrown the Liverpool right back under the bus for eight years. Can you imagine playing behind him?”

Brilliant. Made my night almost as much as Mount’s performance at Wolves.

He’s spot on .
TAA was criticised for his defending but half the time he had overlapped and Salah just lost the ball.
