I would have thought you would have seen that byu having a max number of team players, it stop any clubs from just buying up anything. It makes players purchasing more precise and even restricted.

Don’t think that’s too much of an issue for most teams apart from Chelsea who have a high turnover

All teams can only register 25 players anyway with a certain amount needing to be homegrown

okay I’ll accept that whether Outtara interferes is subjective, but i think it’d be hard for anyone to say he doesn’t actually interfere?

When the ball is played, he is offside, but not in between Reece and the ball.
But he moves across that line, in front of Reece, and gets very close to contacting the ball.

Offside laws:
  • interfering with an opponent by:
    • preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or
    • challenging an opponent for the ball or
    • clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or
    • making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball

For what it’s worth, we were incredibly poor, lineup was wrong, tactics were wrong and there were some shambolic individual performances (Gittens!) so it’s not like we deserved to win… but I’m more concerned about the (lack of) media coverage and the questionable integrity of PGMOL. There isn’t a consistent push for correct decisions, instead it is based on who wins & loses from the incorrect decisions, and that will clearly influence future decisions. There is an underlying feeling from Chelsea fans that we don’t get the rub of the green from VAR, but when we do, boy is there a song and dance about it. Many fans had suggested over the international break that we might get screwed by VAR after the Fulham incident…. And here we are.
Imo if your in the penalty area your interfering if you try to play the ball.
If your in the six yard box your definitely interfering with the keeper and defenders
Even if you miss as here you still put others off the flight of the ball.

Just got mine, plus one each for my two boys. Can’t wait!

Making the most of it, could be another generation before it happens again! 🤣
Where you sat mate? I've gone for A-Block as it should be suitably rowdy.

If you're anywhere near the boot room pre-game and see someone in an obnxiously bright yellow cap, it'll be me, so feel free to say hello.

“Interfering”

Such a wooly statement that allows them a bit of a get out clause

If your in the box then imo your interferring because there is no doubt imo the player will be potentially be in the eye line of a defender etc

Overall VAR has been poor again this season

The handball in our game against Bournemouth was a shocker

Ah I’m down the other end in F block as I’ve got the kids! A block will be great I’m sure.

I’ll look out for the yellow cap if I’m passing The Boot Room!

Good to hear. The half time thing makes no sense, none at all. I believe the pricing is silly as well, which is disappointing.

Some stuff inevitably takes a little time to sort. Hopefully they take note of fan feedback.

Honestly really disappointing! Spurs had a much better setup in their new ground than Everton seemed to and we played both a few games in to their new stadiums.

They've got a lot right with that stadium, especially the views from seats etc - but it just felt like something was missing that other newer grounds have... not sure what though!

For those of you of a certain age who would like to bring a touch of nostalgia to following the football, I’ve just seen on Twitter that there’s a Ceefax app called Telescore.

It is the main way I will be checking the latest scores and tables from now on!

That’s great - just downloaded

But listening to Arsenal fans this morning that table looks wrong ?

Downloaded! It does appear that it doesn't contain the frustration of loading up to find the page you want is 2 of 16 and it's just flicked to page 3......
