A good buy for Leeds. A very decent squad player lost but I don't blame him for wanting to move. He needs to be playing more.Sean Longstaff to Leeds looks a bit firmer now...£12m plus £3m in achievable add-ons.

World Cup place sealed
Yeah but it’s an over inflated deal. Coz that’s what companies do when working with world champions. They give you to much money.Puma chief executive Arthur Hoeld added: "Puma's partnership with Manchester City has been a great success both on and off the pitch.
"Trophies, a perfect stage for our performance products and commercial success were exceptional."

Just hope they've got paper tickets booked through a travel agent for their flights. Crystal Palace can't handle emails, after all!
Forest and Everton earned a few hard won points a couple of years ago that were stripped from them for breaking rules.Palace have earned the right to be in the Europa by winning a trophy
I would have thought fans in the UK would be right behind Palace getting what is rightly theirs
You think that is annoying. Try being a Man Utd fan and wondering what is going on with Mbeumo. Let alone the 4 or 5 wasters at the club that haven't been offloaded yet.The MGW stuff is getting annoying really. Can't someone official just step and accelerate the likely scenario? i.e. the deal gets done and Spurs get a fine and/or slap on the wrist for 'tapping up' even though every club does it constantly. The lack of official word is dragging it out, when it seems obvious what will happen. Forest can kick and scream all they want, but the deal will be done if he had a release clause.

Hypothetical scenario Arthur: Two seasons ago, Forest or Everton’s points deduction meant Luton finished one point above them and they got relegated. Luton survived as a direct result of said deduction.
I’ve got fifty quid here that says you WOULDN’T have said “Forest/Everton have earned the right to remain in the Premier League by winning more points.”
In both cases, punishments came because of errors by the owners. Not by the players. Not by the fans. But I have zero doubt at all that you will spin this rule breach as not being the same as other rule breaches. All rule breaches are equal, but some are more equal than others, eh?
For the record - I couldn’t give a stuff whether Forest end up in Europa or back in the Conference. But the way Palace fans have dragged us into their fight and tried to lay blame at our door for their own incompetence and inability to provide a correct email address or act in time the way everyone else did means my sympathy for their plight is now non existent.
What is the rule breach that Palace have broken ?
Unsure if you genuinely don’t know or if you’re trying to make a point.
But they breached UEFA’s multi‑club ownership rules — specifically Article 5.01 of the UEFA Club Competitions Regulations which prohibits any individual or entity from holding a controlling interest in more than one club participating in the same European competition as of the 1 March 2025 deadline.
They missed a deadline. It’s a stupid deadline and the rules are stupid. But it could easily have been circumvented and - as Forest and Everton were told so many times - rules are rules. It doesn’t matter if you think they’re stupid or not.
In 23/24 Everton and Forest could have proved that each had £100,000,000 worth of players who had no positive influence on their results, but laws and rules don't work like that. And that’s where the issue is as the club believe they have submitted documents that prove that the owner has had no influence at the club over the last 12 months - and that’s where it gets messy, there is no doubt imo that an owner will have influence over any club they own
But people have owned multiple clubs in the same comps for a few years now and it’s not made a difference

No idea, but at least he and his staff did what was necessary to protect the club from an easily avoidable rule breach, on this occasion. When it come to the Everton points issue imo there was a lot of muddy waters there because money involved in the stadium was included
Do you think Marinakis would have any influence over Forest this season

Aren't Palace STILL in Europe though? That’s the thing about it all - there is no doubt imo he will have influence on the club
Also why such an early date
Palace had no idea at the time that they would be in Europe to even think of it
And why do they have to be relegated - Lyon finished 6th in their league - Palace won the cup
They either need to remove multi club ownership - or allow clubs the flexibility to ensure any changes need to be done before the next season - not sure why it needs to be March
But overall i think it’s very harsh on Palace
The protests though won’t make a difference
