Trent hasn’t done too bad considering United fans don’t rate him

Just the odd few trophies behind , I am confused why he keeps getting picked if he is so poor and why the likes of Madrid would be after him

Oh well we will console ourselves as he helps us win a few more trophies hopefully
I can answer why Madrid are after him.

It isn't because they see him as a Maldini type player who will make them impenetrable. It is because they can see that they can utilise his passing abilities to work well with their brilliant attack.

Furthermore, he is free. I'm not sure they'd be willing to pay £50-100 million for him if he still had a few years on his contract?

Btw, from what I have seen of Conor Bradley, he looks like a very very good defender. Much better than TAA. But, I'm sure he is much less capable in the attacking part of the game.

Arguably TAA is helped by Salah? I appreciate people will say Salah offers him no protection. But, on the other hand, I bet Salah terrifies the left back on the opposition (and the other players around him), so I'm guessing they are pinned back much more frequently. If Liverpool had a much weaker attacking threat on their side, and their right winger had the work ethic of Rashford (God forbid), TAA could be torn to shreds virtually every game.

The good news is you don’t have to worry about him 👍

We can worry about his impact to the team which currently right now seems to be going just fine - again

What makes you think I'm worried about him?

I love him. There has only been one game all season were Dalot has been an attacking threat. He has looked like a Sunday League footballer against every opponent thus far, except against Liverpool. Against TAA, Dalot looked like Gareth Bale or David Ginola in their prime. I genuinely want him to stay at Liverpool, because he provides a bit of comedy, alongside Nunez. The rest of the Liverpool side look to be pretty decent. Surely the fact that I'm only being critical of 2 players in your squad is still a pretty decent compliment?

I’m guessing the constant negativity and discussion about him from you 🤷‍♂️

I’m sure Dalot did enjoy himself- was that the draw or the defeat at Old Trafford ?

But I guess it gives you something to celebrate 🥳

Well done Dalot , must be better than any medal that Trent will pick up

One for the City fans. Doku does his dribble, goes past the full back. Then what? Because of the way City play he is not able to take advantage of that dribble and ping a ball across because there is barely a sole there to cross to. City like to pass through a team, walk the ball in. I don't see how Doku fits that profile, even assuming he can actually put a cross in. At the moment, he beats a man and then cuts back, all advantage lost.

Give him to Everton with Beto and Doucoure flying in, Spurs with Solanke, Villa with Watkins and McGinn, Arsenal with (oops, sorry, forget that one :ROFLMAO: ), Palace with Mateta, etc etc and he may well create a stack of goals. At City, I don't see how he fits.

Another one Moyes was after with us but soon as we had a bid accepted city stepped up (we went to kudus instead)

To be fair, a decent one for you, even if just for the profit you will likely make from him this summer. He seems to have dropped off a bit recently, do you think he is thinking of a move away already or is it a change in style for the team that doesn't suit him?

Even then watching him his delivery was poor , didn’t look like he could connect with the ball well , lots of scuffed shots , always look to try to come inside - I think his right is his strong foot - I’m onto half joking with the Traore references but that’s what he seems like

Far too much Adama Traore slander on here today, he'd get me off my seat every single time he picked the ball up, so what if it was me picking the ball and throwing it back on a few seconds later, I still enjoyed it.

The man is just a beast when he is running with the ball - players just bounce of him and must be close to being one of the quickest

And then it’s the John Smith “ave it” delivery at the end 😁

Those few seconds when he was running with it for us, and we had prime Raul waiting in the middle, you could honestly feel the anticipation in the ground.

Just hope they don't do it again tonight.

He was so exciting to watch but sadly your last sentence summed it up. If only he could have sorted that out, what a player he could have been.

(I know he is now playing at Fulham but I never see them play so I have no idea how he is now. I'm guessing not much different)

Did I start the TAA conversation? Am I constantly going on about TAA? How often have I been critical of Liverpool in comparison to how often you talk about Man Utd?

You are very defensive, when I continually compliment TAA on his attacking skills. I've never called him an awful footballer. I've simply called him a bad defender. It seems to really get under your skin? Should I just give all Liverpool players lovely compliments all the time

When he was at Wolves, there was a time I wouldn't have minded him at Utd. Not necessarily as a starting 11 player. But, I thought he wouldn't have been crazy expensive, he wouldn't demand to be a top earner, and he could be lethal at certain moments in a game.

I also think at the time we had Dan James, so Traore seemed like a significant upgrade on that
