To be fair, he was excellent in his last 18 months or so at Everton. Once people stopped using him / seeing him as a winger and played him as a regular midfielder, different player. He owed us nothing when he left.How on earth did Marco Silva manage to turn Iwobi into a decent footballer

Redknapp is right though, we need young refs coming through at all levels to make it to the top, I honestly don’t believe refs make bias decisions, these refs have wife’s and kids, the abuse on social media is absolutely shocking.

It’s going to be a struggle to get people to young people to be officials with the way players act towards them
And I suspect it prob worse lower down to grass roots with abuse coming from all areas
