Thing is though, how many times have Both arsenal and Liverpool been in the driving seat and blew it. Don’t get me wrong we had the AGUERRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOO moment but Utd did everything they could do and it was a moment of brilliance that won our first Prem.

Sky might want to get a new co commentator, one that understands offside.
In describing the goal (before VAR gave it), he said player was onside when it was played through, but offside after it deflected. The deflection was completely irrelevant, given it deflected off a Wolves player (not a Chelsea player near it)

7 years in the Premier League and we're hoping Ipswich and Leicester lose by more goals than we do, what a pathetic shower we've become.
The hope is, I'm speaking from bitter experience here, is that this is a one off for your club. It's easy to have a blip year and if the promoted teams all adapt well to life in the PL that it can be the year you drop. If you get lucky then the promoted teams are all weak, you survive and build back up for the following season.
The real problem is when it isn't a blip year and this becomes the norm

It feels like the norm unfortunately, a managed decline from the top. Owners content on doing just enough, but like you said, there comes a time when doing just enough doesn't work. They need to spend their way out of trouble in the next 10 days, that'll show us serious they are. We need two proper defenders with some balls for a fight, didn't see any of that last night.
