Football fans aren't the brightest unfortunately. They're giving him what he wants. The tweet has had some “interesting” reactions and he is lapping it up
In all honesty he’s been quite funny over the years, but as you say he’s got the reaction he wanted, some of them replying have bitten big time. The tweet has had some “interesting” reactions and he is lapping it up
Forest are absolutely flying, what a season so far.
“League table dosnt lie “Well at the start of the season if you’d offered me a guaranteed top four spot by close of play on 1st January 2025, I guess I’d have taken it.
Seriously though, at the start of the season we had to put up with almost all the pundits and YouTubers mocking our transfer business and predicting our relegation.
Then, they switched to “Well Forest have had a good start but it won’t last”.
And now that it has, the narrative has become “They’re enjoying the good start, but the advanced metrics show they’re in a false position. It won’t last.”
Indeed, maybe it won’t. But as the great man once said….
Feels about right.

He’s getting hammered on twitter for it.Feels about right.
2nd in the Premier League at the halfway point....just build Nuno a statue next to Clough's now and be done with it.
We are making a lot of people look very silly so far (to be fair, a lot of them are YouTube "pundits", so don't really know a lot anyway).
If we stay pretty healthy (bearing in mind we lost our two starting CM in the first few weeks of the season), then we'll comfortably finish in the top 4. Nuno's ability to learn and adapt when he's got it wrong has been outstanding, to the point that he's basically a master tactician every game. I'm still in disbelief about it all if I'm honest.
If we somehow beat an in-form Wolves next weekend and get something against Liverpool (beating them and seeing Slot's nuclear headloss would be the icing on the cake), I don't know what I'll do with myself.
I wouldn't say I criticised it, but I was VERY ambivalent and thought we'd missed a trick not getting Glasner. Very happy to have him prove me (and a lot of others) wrong though. Not only has he transformed the team, but he's clearly a very decent human being which makes him even more likeable.Forest have been an absolute breath of fresh air. Play some lovely football, no real superstars in the team, and are where they are on merit.
I’ll bet all those criticising Nuno’s appointment, and there were plenty, are all feeling rather daft now. He and the club are absolutely made for one another. He comes across as a genuinely nice guy, and I’m delighted for him and the Forest faithful to see them doing so well.
Quite. Life's too short. He’s getting hammered on twitter for it.
It’s just his opinion, not sure why people get so rattled by this type of thing.
He really is a class act
Was gonna ask Everton fans about this - what exactly is the history there? I mean I know he only scored one goal in around 30 appearances and I saw he'd had a dust-up with some boo-boy fans at a (?) train station (?) ....but has he had a proper big fall out with the manager as well, or someone else within the club behind the scenes?
