Agreed,they’re still 2nd favourites tho.
That's meaningless though, it's like quoting a league table based on xg, or some other stat. France are not playing well, Portugal have a strong team, including a strong bench that Martinez doesn't use. France were there for the taking, he blew it.

Spain have been the standout team for me so far, but England and France, whilst not playing well have got a great chance as well.
Fatigue has definitely played a part in this tournament, teams just look jaded after a hard season.
Still think England will go on and win it.

Is Dembele the French word for Werner?
Werner is actually quite good, but one of the long line of players that worked amazing in the Bundesliga but it didn’t click in the PL.

Obviously, Mbappe is quite a bit better than Harvertz, or anyone else in the tournament. It just doesn’t glow for him. Maybe it’s the nose, maybe it’s the expectations.

Harvertz however had some great opportunities in the tournament. Free run on goal against Denmark, chip on a fairly open goal against Spain, … . I just cannot work out how Arsenal didn’t win the league last season.

Looking at the options they have on the bench and not used is an embarrassment of riches
Neto
Ramos
Jota

All three with a case of being in the starting 11

And then taking off Fernandes who was actually playing well compared to Ronaldo who was annoymous again

Santos made the call to drop him

And the result for the match was a 6-1 thrashing of Switzerland

But shows the lack of backbone from Martinez to bring him back and then to not even sub him

They should have been far too strong for a poor French side

See the England fans out there acted with grace towards the German fans when they get knocked out

Suggestions this morning that Southgate is going to pick Trippier at RWB instead of TAA. I'm not Trent's biggest fan as a defender but if you're going to play with wingbacks then surely he has to start. If true it really sums up Southgate's negative mindset.

It’s the perfect role for him but there is no chance Southgate drops a favourite player of his

But it does sum up his mindset

Strong rumours that we have finally got our man in max kilman for £40 million from wolves

J-lo wants to appoint him as captain is the word

Solid second singing of the window , still work to be done

Our 3rd signing even, forgot we signed wes foderingham from Sheffield United as our 3rd choice keeper

Not bad work thus far .. a young attacking player as a prospect , an experienced goal keeper to back up and a proven premier league centre back

Glad it's confirmed now

Still more incoming, the next rumoured is Kyle walker peters with downes going the other way

France haven't scored in open play in this tournament. They are flat and playing poorly. As inspiring as England in this tournament. Definitely there for the beating.

3 goals in 5 games. 2 own goals and a penalty. Team with world class attacking players yet looking negative and defensive.

Is the French media going mental for Deschamps to be sacked?

Do we grudgingly admire their ability to grind out a result?

We should look at Southgate and England with the same lens.

He's been getting stick for years for negative football, the difference is he's got a trophy to back it up. We've got nothing.

England have a stronger midfield and attack too, France are carried by Mbappe.

That said France have still looked better than we have and actually have a plan for their style, we just look like 11 strangers thrown together passing backwards and sideways in slow motion before launching a long diagonal to Saka.

Crazy he was playing for Marlow Town a few years back.

😂 good old Southgate - only one change because of the suspension

Actually glad that TAA doesn’t have anything to do with it anymore , he can come back well rested for pre season - he finally uses a system to get the best out of him and has him on the bench

Southgate is loyal to players and I believe doesn’t really know how to change things up - he is tactically inept

Saka has been awful. Rice has been bang average. Foden has been dreadful. Trippier has been shocking. Kane has been virtually anonymous.

What a pity we don’t have a squad of 26 players to choose from.

Oh, hang on a sec…………
