With cctv, named ticketing and police spotters they really should be easy to pick up. I've been in the away end at Newcastle when Liverpool fans have let flares off, everyone gets frisked so where are they hiding them 😳, and you nearly always see them getting taken away by the police.

I've asked my cousin, season ticket holder, why they still do it when they will get a ban and he just says 'stupid'. Nothing more complicated than that 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s stupid , dangerous and unfortunately I think it’s going to take someone get seriously injured before they wake up and stop doing it

I've already had enough of the "Klopp Farewell Tour" that both Sky and the BBC have been using. What a load of crap. I hope that's the only trophy that club wins this season.
You can’t blame the club for Sky and BBC crap!

Im detecting a tad of dislike of Liverpool from a selection of forumers.😉
All I can say is it’s just as well your not referees,

Your detecting device is spot on in my case. Can't stand Liverpool. Hate everything about them, from their stupid tooth whitening, over celebrating coach, to their players, to their fans (most, not all). I've hated them since the late 70's when my brother decided to jump on the bandwagon and support them because they were successful.

Meanwhile my "second" teams at that time were Ipswich (my grandfather was manager of Colchester Building Society and got tickets for us to watch a game and meet the team, I even had a teddy bear named Kevin Beattie bear), WBA in the Laurie Cunningham/Cyrille Regis days and Norwich because they were our nearest top flight team.

Honest reply.

Hate is a very strong emotion though.
I used to like watching Ipswich when they played in a proper league!🤣🤣🤣
Big Cyrillie another very underrated player.

Liverpool deserved that purely for not being scared to throw the youngsters into it. Extra time was a battle between the right way to run a club and the wrong way.

Liverpool had a team full of academy products playing on the front foot with quality and passion, Chelsea were the oppposite. Overrated and overpaid players going through the motions. You have to question Poch big time too as he seemed to take a team on the up at the end of normal time and play for penalties. Klopp showed the difference between a good manager and a world class one. I really rate Poch after his work at Spurs but he's made two terrible moves to PSG and Chelsea which don't fit him.

Poch is a fraud tbf

Won absolutely nothing of significance. He's one of those managers who got better when he wasn't working... Always linked to massive jobs because he got Spurs to a CL final.

He did well at Southampton and Spurs, but they were clubs that you couldn't guarantee silverware, even if you were Pep in charge.

But, I'm not sure of his talents managing teams of highly paid, ready made stars? I suspect managing teams of players who haven't yet "made it", and have a lot to prove is different to managing big players who already believe they are at the top of their game.

Besides, Chelsea seems to be a bit of a car crash for anyone to manage. They've surely bought far too many players, on huge salaries, to give any manager a headache. Sign an 8 year contract worth hundreds of thousands a week, I can imagine it is human nature to chill out a bit and maybe the effort levels subconsciously decline a few percent. Small margins make a big difference when you play teams who give the maximum.

I don't know what their run was, but I guess he gets some credit to getting to final at all. But it was set up on a plate for them with Liverpool's injuries, and they had stage fright. They had their chances, so could have gone either way. But they should have won relatively easily against that Liverpool side.

Chelsea's biggest problem, in my opinion, are the morons that run the club. And I do wonder if FFP will eventually kick them in the backside

You’d snatch Emery’s hand off he could give you 4 years like Poch’s first 4 years at Spurs. Chelsea has been a poisoned chalice for a few seasons now, a bit akin to Utd.

If they don't start selling then FFP will hit them at some point. That being said, you just know they're going to change the rules this year...

Agree, Chelsea is a mess of a club, any actual top side yesterday should have beaten a very injury hit Liverpool side. Alas, Chelsea are not that!

Chelsea should have beat City last week but they couldn’t finish a chocolate biscuit.
They played well enough in both games but goals win games. 🙈🤣

Without doubt a very good manager, and Villa are looking decent but no better than Spurs were under Poch.

Different league at a different time.

They bottled the league to Leicester under poch.

They didn't have Liverpool, City and Arsenal all on for 85+ point finishes.

Emery has had far more success and is far superior a manager.

If, as you say, it was a different league at a different time, how can you fairly compare both managers? Isn’t that comparing apples with oranges?

Poch had 4 good years at Spurs. Emery hasn’t achieved anything yet at Villa. I think the signs are he almost certainly will, but that isn’t proven yet.

Well neither have won anything in England.

And Emery has won more elsewhere......

Id rather have Emery.

I reckon half the Chelsea fans would too to be honest...

If I had the choice, I’d rather have Emery too, but Poch’s record in the Prem bears up under scrutiny. Very good at Southampton. Gave Spurs their best period since the early 60’s. Chelsea’s issues pre-date Poch and with the managerial merry go round will still be there after he’s gone.
