I think Southgate would def leave Rashford out. He has in the past. He almost seems to leave him out in periods he is actually doing well, then picking him when his form is dodgy.

Actually, in that case, he is a shoe in. If Kane gets injured, and Southgate plays Rashford up front, I will cry (and I'm not even English)

I suppose Foden on the left instead of Rashford leaves a central position open for Southgate to go with a defensive option.

I pretty much agree, I don't think I want to pin my hopes that he had another season like last, when he can do what he did today. Worse than 10 men, at least with 10 men the players don't risk passing it to him. He can do a job on left, despite being pretty awful this season. But as a no.9, maybe the worst I have ever seen. Seeing centre backs making better runs than him was ridiculous.

My patience is also growing thin with Bruno. He just gives the ball away an incredible amount. He just gets the ball, then hoofs it forward. To be honest, even if the ball is on, he underhits his pass so much. Defender cuts it out, they get second ball and often launch a quick counter at the Utd defence. I'd love to see a stat to see how many dangerous counters the opposition have come from a Bruno pass.

Bruno is the perfect ETH player, he is great in the transition which is what ETH is trying to do. He's simply doing what he's told to and that's getting the ball forward quickly on turnovers. The problem is there's no one in the midfield who can control the game and that's why you see frantic end to end games with Man Utd conceding 20 odd shots on goal to third rate sides and around 30 to top sides. That's not sustainable. For me it's a backward step and a club like Man Utd should be playing a much more controlled and front footed game.

The results of the last few weeks had papered over the cracks of some poor performances. The good news for you is Ratcliffe looks like he means business and will turn around everything from the training ground, stadium, recruitment and getting the right manager in place.

Another great win for the villa made sweeter by United losing! Great weekend for us! Up the villlllaaaaaaaaaa

We were on the wrong end of an attacking master class from your boys yesterday. Fair play.

At 3-2 I was hoping we might make a game of it. Memories of the legendary 5-5 were coming back! 🤣

Villa are a great team at the moment. Really hope you guys can keep it up and make top four. Any side outside of the Boring Big Six who is trying for that gets my best wishes!

The 4th came at a very important time!

You’ve got some great young talent in attack, future is bright at Forest for sure. Just need to keep strengthening like we have year on year.

Was a cracking game, great fun to watch and always nice to play someone not from London 😂

Fingers crossed we can continue to disrupt! Newcastle were doing it with us last season but having a tough year this time around, it’s so hard to stay above the top sides!

Well going to be a tough ask today - Nunez , Mo and Dom didn’t make it

Couple of 16 year olds making the bench - average age of the team is 23 😂

How long does it take to draw VAR offside lines? Does anyone actually know the process? Does it genuinely take that long?

I mean, was that delay then just while they were waiting for lines to be drawn, or were they farting around doing other stuff first?!

Feels like it should be quicker - but admittedly I don’t really know much about the actual technology.
