Which is why I say any change of manager needs to coincide with an overhaul of the playing staff. Too many players with stinking attitudes and they will be the same whoever is in charge if they don’t get their own way.
Yes but why don’t they do that and Keep ETH. Show players who’s in charge!

If he goes they are saying he’s to blame,
Trouble ahead I think, for such a club it’s unacceptable really.

Perhaps because if Sir Jim Ratcliffe does take control of the footy side at UTD, he may well want to control who comes and goes on the playing staff, and when. No manager wants an owner getting involved in the squad and team matters.

Not sure they'll be able to hide the evidence, and refuse to cooperate for years on this charge
Stranger things have happened 😁 However.

Every days a skool day. Remember when Onana clattered into the Wolves player early this season and no penalty was given. Guess who the Ref was 😳

That would absolutely be my choice, but if the reports are true it may have gone too far for that.

Oh dear. If reports on Sky Sports News are in any way accurate, unless Erik Ten Hag holds clear the air talks with his entire squad very soon, his days may be numbered.

The suggestion is as many as half his squad are deeply unhappy with his management style, training methods and so on.

Groundhog Day and another management change on the horizon, methinks.
The dressing room seemed to be doing OK last season, especially once we got rid of the unhappy Ronaldo.

But there are too many weak players in that squad. Fine until things get tough, then turn into big sulks when the struggles arrive. Blaming the manager is easy, especially for ones not getting into 1st 11 anyway, and some of their weak minded buddies.

Perhaps the manager merry go round is necessary for Utd, due to their absolute incompetence of having a decent structure in place to recruit, and get rid of players

It's almost as though the players were in charge.

The biggest problem at Man Utd is ETH. He's just simply not experienced or good enough to manage at the level Man Utd aspire to be at. It's that simple.

He's caused bust ups with players for no reason
He overlooks shambolic performances from players he favours which creates a toxic dressing room
His transfers have been nothing short of woeful
He's got no playing style
Comes across as arrogant and deluded
Record against top clubs is actually embarrassing

Theres no way back for him, his days are numbered and rightly so. The easy run of games papered over the cracks, now he's got a very tough run up until Christmas. The problem is theres very few world class managers around at the moment, the boat was missed in 2022.

You could be right.
But using this method of sacking the manager hasn’t worked since Fergie retired.

Not PL but Sunderland have sacked Tony Mowbray. Odd move. He has had no money to spend, has brought through a lot of young kids and his strikers from last year were either sold or returned from loan deals. By all accounts, local press, playing golf with Mackems, the side have been playing good football, just not been able to finish teams off. They aren't in trouble, it's a knee jerk move because the owners panicked that they may miss the play offs. The reality is they are 2-3 years from surviving in the PL, promotion would be bad for them.

Mowbray was building a team, doing it in a good way. It's a shame, he was bringing stability and progress to a club that has been in a real mess for some years.

Slightly annoying news about the new tv deal. Amazon will not be part of the new deal, it is Sky & TNT only for live games. I like the Amazon concept, all games available, up to you which one you choose. We have been told for a little while now that this will be the future but sadly, not the case yet still.

Potter for yernited, he's been turning down job after job , probably waiting for the yernited job to fall into his lap
I'm a big fan of Potter but he needs to be able to build his team, mould the style. Would the egos at Utd have the patience? I suspect you are right, he is certainly biding his time and Utd looks to be the next job coming available out of the bigger clubs.

Alternatively, would West Ham be big enough for him? I reckon Moyes will not go beyond this season. Big stadium, decent team, half decent budget now. It is somewhere he could build and he would probably get the time and also a bit more freedom than at Utd.

The way potter sets up his teams everyone has to play their part.
Not sure UTD squad are up for the work.

I'm glad Amazon don't have it, simply because the picture quality for me is horrendous. Maybe it is just my internet speed, but I still hate the idea of streaming live football as internet connection is much more unreliable than my satellite dish.
