That’s a heck of an atmosphere there - great to see the games against the home nations. If only it happened more often - great rivalry

I disagree Foden is the future.
You can’t build around 1 player unless it’s Messi level. He isn’t a world class star , he still needs to prove himself internationally, Bellingham has done it more , yes Foden will be part of the future

Liverpool fans boo their own athem to be fair :)

Guess only you could bring Liverpool into it

Hang on, let me play my violin.

Apologies I didn't mention all the other clubs whose fans boo their own anthem.....

It should but these games we're expected to win and truthfully don't put as much on it as the opposition. I don't know why we bother playing them.

It’s the 150th anniversary of the oldest international game

And with the way Scotland have played in these qualifiers this is one that could easily go Scotlands way , think they are close to being the first team to qualify for the Euros

Get behind your team. Sing your heart out for your "anthem"....but have the decency to shut up when your opponents is being played. Plus keep silent. Bunch of thugs.
People who identify themselves as Scottish nationalists often don’t respect the English and definitely not an anthem which does nothing to be inclusive of the second biggest constituent country of the UK. There’s nothing wrong with them booing the opponent’s anthem.

In your opinion. I wouldn't boo ANY countries national anthem. It is disrespectful.

What was more disrespectful was the chanting by what appears to be the England fans during the silence for the earthquake victims

That's football. Not what I'm saying. I think you know that.
This is stated quite plainly here. I can think nothing other than that is what you are saying.

You expect to win these games, don’t care as much as the opposing team about them due to this and don’t even know why you play them.

That’s almost explicit in its intent. Unless it’s badly written, of course, but your posts aren’t badly written often if ever.
