I'm on the athletics at the moment (blooming rugby on too!) but thought Sterling looked really sharp at the weekend. Perhaps he isn't quite good enough to drag a failing team up a level but can perform to his best when everyone around him is too?

In my mind it's akin to match fixing. He's chosen (not) to make a decision that is very likely to have affected the outcome of the game. Also possible that if Chelsea had scored and gone on to win that game that Tuchel would've been given more time. Butterfly effect coming from the video ref deciding that he didn't want to do his job.
He’s still top class, I’d say it was just a poor season, maybe more going on in his head than just football for whatever reason, but in my opinion he’s far too good to stay down for long.

Not sure. All that you say, probably suspend the refs from international duty as well as they would be complicit. They may also get English clubs suspended from European competitions, CL etc
Ultimately, it isn't a big enough deal, certainly not big enough to go against the world governing body for.
Just seen Tyler Adams being interviewed in advance of the Bournemouth v Spurs game on TNT Sports. I have to say, what a nice, eloquent and clearly intelligent fella he is. And what a pleasant change from some players who struggle to form a coherent sentence.

What do you mean? Romero would walk into the West Ham team, Bissouma would most likely get in as well. He was a stupid signing really. Not because he's crap, but because he was always going to spend the first season struggling for minutes given that his best position is where Son plays - and if he was bought to take over from Kane that's daft because I don't believe he's a central striker really.
