The day it all came together.

Great score MWJ keep it up.

I`ve been waiting five years for it all to come together.

Played yesterday, putting was great (28) rest of the game

was rubbish.Never mind I`ll keep trying.

Good scoring. I hope you maintain this form into the next medal. It is time you got a decent cut. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself in the medal though, it is easy to have too higher expectations. Take it as it comes.

With autumnal receptive greens, serious spin is within the reach of every one (who isn't playing a top flight). The true test of spin is links golf in July, with rock hard greens. Spin it back then, and you are striking it well.

Envious of your golf at the moment, as I am going through a bout of serious shanking, and loss of power too. Have you stolen my mojo?

What is even scarier is that I had 51 stableford points, no blobs and indeed 15 strokes better than my h/cap of 27.

Makes me even more determined to kick on next year and start practising hard and playing more.

And I thought my teaching pro was pulling my leg last week when he said I could be a single figure golfer in a year or 2.

For a 27 h/cap, the no blobs is really the most impressive bit. Anyone can get a few birdies, it is keeping the bad scores off the card that is hard.

Teetime, we need to get together. Played yesterday; driving was good, long and mid-irons were good, couldn't sink a putt if it were a bucket!

John super shooting mate, thats just unreal! I hope it lasts for you.

I shot an 83 at the beginning of the summer and aint been that low since. Hopeful that the new irons will giv me a bit more consistency to hit the greens and bring the scores down.

That is a serious amount of stapleford points! Were you playing alone, or did you take the money ? ;) Either way nice shooting, I've never been that low myself so am pretty envious.

Played with someone who is interested in becoming a member at Gillingham today.

He asked if everyone there is a bandit!?!?

Just one of those days I suppose, I have had a few lovely knocks of late, I think my teaching pro and the pro who gave me some putting advice deserve a lot of credit for this success.

Sorry if it seems I am being a bit big-headed, I am just SO chuffed and you guys are the people to share it with!

Definitly John! SHARE AWAY MY FRIEND we love the success storeys

Everyone will no about it when I play well with the 52's.

Jon you bandit! haha only joking mate! Well played! You know what,, i think i could shoot a good score round your track! Once i get playing regularly again of course!

It is always great when we follow the trials and tribulations of regular forum members on here and hear about the bad rounds and then suddenly a couple of great ones come from nowhere. Share my friend and enjoy
