Pretty sure most of you will have an example of a club you used to own that you look back to now and wish you still had.

I have two, my old Scotty Del Mar and my titleist 910 d3 with fubuki shaft :(

I've never got rid of any club that I have owned. I've only had three sets of irons in over thirty years of playing and probably the same number of woods and putters. My Mrs uses my Titleist DTRs and my Callaway X16s are lying in the office somewhere.

I played in a fourball a while back and three out of the four drivers in use had all belonged to me at some stage, I have had more set of clubs than years that I have played the game! (About15)

I think that suggests that there are loads of clubs that I shouldn't have got rid of!

The opposite for me mainly. If I like a club I keep it, especially putters.

However I did trade in a Ping Anser many years ago which I wished I'd kept. I just couldn't get on with it. Would be nice to still have it though. I think that's why I now keep them all.

The one set of irons I 'miss' - Miura Tournament Blades w Rifle 6.0 - wouldn't be as 'not quite right' for my game (tough out of rough) today as they weren't for my game as when I moved them on about 6 years ago.

The 1 club I regret moving on was a Sonartec GS Tour w Fuji 660TA. It was absolutely fabulous! Got stolen, along with all his other clubs, from the Porsche of the guy I sold it to! It was the 1 club he really missed out of the set too!

My Nike SQ5000 Machspeed driver. Made a hell of a racket when you hit but what a Driver, sadly it had to go as the shaft went in it and to replace the shaft was more than the club was worth in the end...

Non really if I'm being honest.

Everything I've upgraded through my short (3 year) playing time has been better for me. Especially the last C/F'd additions.

If I said I "missed" playing a set of irons it would be my Mizuno MP32s. I haven't got rid of these though. The currently reside behind the sofa :D

or loads of clubs you didnt have to buy! :) You sound like me..an equipment junky!!! Trouble is I love the feel of new clubs and the confidence that they give you and the fact that they may be the holy grail youve been looking for! Ive got at least 4 sets of irons and tons of putters and woods in the garage.....:p drives the missus mad !

I had a Callaway Heaven wood once with a really whippy shaft and virtually no grip left and I used to nail that thing from the rough. Ive no idea where its gone!!!

The best driver I ever possessed was undoubtedly the Yonex 400 SE+. Unfortunately it was declared "non conforming" under the COR regulations. I've still to find an alternative that matched it's distance and consistency.

MacGregor Tourney Custom 985 blades, 2-SW. Played my best golf with them, and should never have sold them. Only old clubs I have kept and would never sell are my Ping Anser putter, circa 1974, and my persimmon driver.

The head on the three iron from my set of Wilson blades that I started playing with and then the head on the 9 iron, then the 6 iron!
From being laid up for 10 years the shafts had rusted from the inside but looked perfect on the outside. It did give us some laughs when it happened though.
That's when I bought the Cally Xtours online for £70!

ive always upgraded too. kinda wish I hadn't sold my mate my R9. I never really hit it all that well when I had it but it was a nice looking bat and I wouldn't have minded keeping it as my driver when im back in Ireland on holiday.
