Hello. This is Teegirl, hijacking Bobs lappy.

Along with most of you I'm getting pretty fed up now and the mind is wondering.... I went to Ashbury last March, and was impressed with the value for money, although the courses were maybe not to the standard some may be use to, I'd be happy to play any where at the moment.

The point of this thread is I think it would be a good place for an early season knock about, and wondered if anyone was interested.

The web price is £153.00 Full board, unl'd golf, buggies, and all the other facilities. for 4 nights. I thought maybe 2 or 3 nights, this price is until 22nd March.

Can't make it but for the benefit of those that haven't played there the courses are typical holiday courses. By no means the most challenging but you'll still need to put it in the right places to score well. Its a god set up and I'd recommend trying to get accommodation at the Maddeford site which is on the golf clomplex itself. Food is pretty good and they normally chuck in the odd bottle of wine very cheaply

I'd be up for the playing bit. But as I only live 30 minute drive from there would probably opt not to stay.

I think you should all bring the loved ones, it's not the Ritz, but the nosh was good, I had the gym, sauna and hot tub, nearly to myself every morning, loads to do and the bars are open all day girls.

Shops only a few miles away, at these prices, its nearly cheaper than staying at home, so why can't everyone be happy.
