Tee shot

I have a query.Yesterday I teed off on the white tees and my ball hit a yellow tee block about 15 yards in front and ricocheted back behind me out of the teeing area.
As the tee blocks are a removable object should I have been allowed to retake my tee shot without penalty or play it where it lies outside the tee box.

Play it as it lies I am afraid .
Any movable object would have to be removed before you take your shot not after .

Thanks for that,wasn't 100 percent sure.Finished with 67 Nett,had a 7 on the par 4 hole with the tee block hit and 65 won it!!

You do get relief for line of play for a moveable obstruction but you still have to play the shot from where it came to rest if you do not want to take unplayable lie penalty relief.

Lol,it was annoying.Had a 6ft putt that stopped on the edge of the hole for a birdie and the 7!!
