Ok so I went to return something for my mate today and came across this beast, one hell of a club and good reviews, may be tempted!

Anybody got one? or had a go with one? or know someone that uses one?

Going to get another 2 rounds under my belt with the old burner just to build some faith in my driving the get the r11 back out the naughty bag, if it doesn't behave then it's going up

Worst thing is with the old burner in hand yesterday I hit a couple of monsters, one driving the green on a 310yard par 4. Obviously the ball is running well and I must admit to having s slight tail wind but she was a peach

If this is the White one then it's bloody awful, leave it where usage and save your money. Used a mates for half a round, I say half because I'd have snapped the b@@@@@d if I'd have used it more. 3 out of 4 lowish cappers couldn't use it, I don't know why but it's very light.

I tried it but found that I hit the R11 better. It's worth going out and trying both side by side and then finding what's best for you.

I do have the Burner Superfast 2.0 3 wood and Hybrid though and they're crackers.

What spec did you get and was it fitted? I have never driven better with mine.

Yes, i've the same as Oddsocks.

9deg, std stiff shaft.

Onto my third one, (first one paint chipped, second had rattle in the head). It took me about 4/5 rounds to get used to it from my old tour burner. It's very light and 1/2" longer which means it took alot of tinkering to get the correct setup.

I'm by no means perfect with it and i'd say i cant see a great deal of difference over the tour burner (little longer possibly) and a bit wilder for now but it is a good club it just takes time to get used to!

A guy I play with regularly just bought the Burner Superfast and it's put about 15 yards on his drives and he loves it. Nit had a swing with it yet but it won't be long... :)

I have the SuperFast 3 & 5 Fairway woods (Original not tipex), as well as a #3 Hybrid.

Fairway woods are fantastic, very forgiving and go for miles. The hybrid is not so consistent but still flys pretty well.

I blame the shaft. Seriously! The Matrix Ozik X-Con shafts in the fairway woods are great, but they fitted the rescue with a Re-Ax shaft. Personally I would have thought it better for Taylormade to fit the SuperFast range (driver-rescue) with the same shaft??

Just my tuppence woth.

Ok, now the admission (which I think that I have put on here before) I actually have 6 drivers! and will be looking to sell a couple to fund this purchase but I dont know which ones!

Now bearing in mind my driver swing speed is 106mph and I use a stiff shaft I do hit the ball quite high (even with the ball teed quite low), anyway here's my list:-

1. TaylorMade R9 TP 420cc 9.5deg
2. Mizuno MX700 9.5deg
3. Mizuno MP600 10.5deg
4. Ping G10 9deg
5. Bridgestone J33R
6. Cobra L5V

I do have two sets of clubs, my match set which is in my Powakaddy bag and a stand bag which I use for play 3 or 9holes during the weeknights.

I may sell the Cobra and the R9, but I like the adjustability of the R9! Arrrrrrr!

Love the G10 and the MX700 matches my 3&5 wood and hybrid in my match set, I do like the Bridgestone and the MP600 is very adjustable so could release the R9 and get decent money and keep the MP600 as an adjustable driver.

HELP!

I forgot you'd joined the R11 club. How you getting on with it?

I'm eager to try the Superfast 2.0 hybrids as I didn't really get on with the R11 fairways.

Like Drawboy, I've never driven better than I have with the R11.

After an initial teething period and a period of swing problems, I'm now hitting it pretty well and am growing in confidence with it.

Bought one after a demo day! What a mistake! Far far too light and the longer shaft certainly didn't help. Don't get me wrong, when I caught the odd one right it went super miles ( even longer than timgolfys). Very inconsistent though. If your stuck on getting one yourvswing tempo is essential. Smooth and easy, not grip it and rip it!!!!

I tried one at a TM demo day. Hated it. It made a real racket off the face - louder than the old Nike Sumo. Even in the TM stiff flex it was way too whippy even for my swing and was so hard to control. Yes the good ones went into the next postcode but the bad ones did too but left or right. I'd rather have something I can control with ease. Not for me I'm afraid
