I tend to go very quiet rather than throw a hissy fit. Occasionally I'll throw a wedge or other club back at my bag and I do wish I could scream at times.
Great game eh?

When i played off 14 i saw it as allowing me 14 bad shots in a round, no use getting mad i was not good enough to get mad at bad shots.
Although never saw this - heard a story about a pay and play guy turn up at my home club and was having a bit of a shocker.
Hit his tee shot into the lake on the 9, didnt say a word whilst walking up the fairway, until he got 10 yrds from the lake, started shouting at himself and threw his bag into the lake and storm off towards the car park...........
within 5 mins he returned jumped into the lake, got his car keys out of his bag, climbed out and walked off without saying a word. - Really hope this is true!
No tantrum involved, but I actually witnessed this in an Open at my course.Seriously.....most golf clubs that have a few lakes on them will have a story like this. It may have happened ONCE somewhere, but it can't have happened everywhere there is a bit of aqua.

ex member at our place was a total loony. he duffed a chip on the the par 3 green, lifted his bag over his head and ran down the hill screaming, got to the bridge over the burn snapped all his clubs then threw clubs bag the lot into the burn. when he calmed down in the clubhouse he went back out to salvage what he could and someone had stole his trolley. he doesnt play golf anymore
